Didnt see any comment about Shanghai. But for the record: Top effort by Aussie Casey Stoner to win from Rossi for a hard fought victory. Ducati certainly had the legs on the straights.

Just been looking at the provisional dates for MotoGP next year. Why is it that Spain gets 3 rounds and everyone else has to make do with 1. Its the same with trials, the effectively get 3 again, with Portugal and Andorra only a stones throw away. Is Spain the centre of the universe for Motorcycle Sport as far as the FIM is concerned??????????

The last race of this seasons MogoGP I think you'll agree was spectacular. Just when we thought Casey would run away with a 10 second lead on Dani, Dovi, and Ben, it started to rain, hard. That race for second looked like, and for 3rd in world championship, it would never end. With at least a half dozen exchanges between Dani and Dovi, while Ben was just waiting to pounce on any mistake, it really looked like it was all set in stone. I've been following JT's progress in the winter tests and reckon a podium is definately on for this year. Bradly Smith has also been flying in the 125 class since he switched to the Aprilia and must be in with a shout of the title if he gets the luck. Any doom-mongers out there????

The end of season race was a cracker for those that missed it. Lorenzo showed he was really the champion this year. Taking the lead of Stoner was pure ability, but do feel Stoner was held back by the limitations of his setup (too harder rear tyre spinning up?). Rossi was just had to hang on to 3rd, nothing more he could do, different set up to Lorenzo? Great challenge by Simoncelli, and place by Spies. Cat wait to next year with all the new seat changes. I see red next year, I think Rossi will still be at the pointy end, but not without some renewed competition. What do you think?

I wonder if HRC Honda would have eeked out a Championship this past year without the jump on Yamaha with that seamless transmission. I've noticed the 253mph Bugatti runs the same type of gearbox. Even VRossi has said it makes a difference. Who invented it first?

I have to admit, I've only been following MotoGP for 5 or 6 years, and I dont know what went down much earlier than that, however, what i've seen happening this season between Yamaha and Ben Spies, has been awfully suspicious. First off, I want to say thanks to all of you guys who gave me a super explanation of why Dovi went (is going) to Ducati. With Ben Spies, it seems since he announced his departure with Yamaha at the end of this season, he's had nothing but bad luck and mechanical failures. The broken shock bolt at Laguna, the blown motor... The slipping clutch? Does this seem a little suspicious to you by a major manufacturer?
