Hi there. I bought a fork fork seal kit, retaining clip and dust seals for my 2012 Evo 125. They are for the 38mm paoili forks. Never fitted them as I don't need them yet. I'm selling the bike and buying a 2020 Evo 300. Will these seals fit the new bike or should I sell them with the old bike? I understand the 2020 has 38mm forks but not paoili.

  2. I did a search and came up empty handed. I noted that the 2t and 4t Evo's have different part numbers for the shift levers. Are there any aftermarket shift levers available? The OEM one had a fight with a rock.... Wardo

I have a hole in the right side of my airbox that needs to be fixed/sealed to prevent unfiltered air from getting into the intake. Can anyone tell me what the air box is made of and/or what would be a good product/material to adhere to it for a long term fix. THANKS!

  4. Started by evo boy,

Evening all. I've just picked up a 2019 evo factory and the front light seems to be on all the time. I must be very blind because I can't seem to find any switch. The only one I can see is the mapping one on the head light. Thanks

  5. The fuel hose on my Long Range Tank is leaking right where it exits the shut-off valve. I can't see any way to get in there to release it so I can replace the hose. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get to it or how to take the fuel valve out? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

  7. Started by Jeffcomerford,

Good Morning All, I have a 2020 Beta 300 2 stroke that I bought used last week. It has a carb on the unit that doesn't have an idle adjustment. Does this make sense? The carb on the unit is a Keihin NB5 A 1EP. Thanks

  8. Started by NoTraction,

So I twisted my forks when I took a tumble at the weekend. I loosened off the bottom yoke pinch bolts, mudguard bolts and axle pinch bolts and straightened it all out best I could. I then retightened everything up. The only reference I could find that mentioned torque settings said ‘steering stem bracket 25nm’, I realise now that wasn’t referring to the yoke pinch bolts as I tightened them to this and sheared one off! So I bought some snapped bolt removal tools, carefully drilled in, started winding it with a spanner and then snapped that bloody thing off! So now I have part of a snapped off tempered steel removal tool also in the hole, I have been trying for…

Does someone sell a flywheel weight for a 2016 Evo 125? I had this apart a while back and IIRC it was not the newer "reverse mount" type flywheel like the newer models but it was a little tiny thing unlike anything I had seen on other models. The rider is 79 so I think most advice against putting a weight on a 125 does not apply.

  10. Started by gazzaecowarrior,

I think I've found the problem with the idling on my Beta Evo 125. It has always been rich on idle. I changed the 55 pilot to 52 and it dramatically improved things. Now idles ok at 1.75 turns out compared to the 3.5 on the 55 jet. But I noticed when I was cleaning out the pilot circuit prior to fitting new pilot jet that when I put carb cleaner down the pilot jet hole it fizzed out of the mating surface between the jet block and the carb body. Im thinking this will cause incorrect idling due to over richness of fuel so I want to replace the o-ring for the jet tower. Problem is nobody in the UK seems to sell the genuine part and postage plus part from the USA or Euro…

  11. Has anyone seen one of these connecting rods break before? Just trying to figure out what would have caused it. Snapped while riding up a smooth, steep slab. No case or large compression, so it's really strange. Just wondering what the root cause might have been to hopefully prevent it from happening again when I replace the part. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  13. Folks, Newish to trails - I had a 2012 Beta 2T for 12/18 months and got on ok with it but sold it due to working abroad. I was going to try and pick another up but missed out. There is a locally sourced 2018 Factory Evo 300 2T available but I am wondering how wild they are. I am not in a position to have a test ride and nor do I know anyone in the trials community that I could blag a ride on one from. It has an aftermarket head on to alter the compression (blue anodised SR3 - you may know what that means) to smooth out the bottom end power delivery and I could put a slow action throttle on for the time being. I have been riding for 25yrs+ ; road, t…

  14. Started by gazzaecowarrior,

My beta Evo seems to idle well about 3.25 turns out on the air screw. I'm convinced it's idling rich. I seem to be turning the idle screw in so much to maintain idle I think I'm bypassing the idle circuit. I'm considering a smaller pilot jet. It currently has the standard 55 pilot jet 130 main jet and middle clip on needle. Mid and top end power is perfect so I don't want to fiddle with that end. I don't want to buy a pilot jet assortment kit but instead would just like to buy one original keihin pilot jet. I'm just wondering what size should I buy ? It seems keihin sell 52, 50, 48 and further down. How much of a difference would 52 make compared to my current 55 or …

Hi, I’m looking for a bit of help. Not ridden my beta in nearly 2 years. I was going to enter a competition a few weeks ago and found my rear brake was not working. I bled it and unceased the calliper pistons, but didn’t see much difference, so I didn’t compete. Went green laning instead I took it to my local shop he had a go and thought he fixed it. He bled it, did more unceasing of the calliper pistons and adjusted the rear brake pedal. I chucked the bike in the garage but didn’t try the brake. Stupid I know! Fast forward to now, I was gonna do a competition tomorrow, got the bike out and back brake is still rubbish, maybe marginally better. there looks plenty o…

Hi all, Im coming back to trials after a very very long break so not upto speed on bikes/gear. Im not going to be spending a great deal of cash but have a budget. Conundrum is 2008 Beta Rev 250 or 2013 Beta Evo 250, £400 difference between the two although the older bike is slightly better condition. Is the extra £400 on the evo going to be better/worth it ? Thanks Badger

  18. Started by fairlie,

After changing all the rear linkage bushes and shock bushes on Beta Evo 290 I have a bit of play after the first ride . Looking closer it seems the shock mounting hole on the frame has elongated or worn due to years of hammering . A tighten up cures it but that only lasts as long as the first few rocks . My initial thought is to ream the mounting lugs on the frame out and bush it . There is a fair bit of beef on the frame lugs . Looking on ebay I can see 10mm OD , 8mm ID steel bushes - would it be best done in steel or alloy like the frame ? Has anyone done this or is there a recognised fix ? Thanks .

We have a 2007 Beta 80 big wheel with a cracked front mudguard. Original parts seem to be in short supply and have been told the later Evo part does not fit. Anyone recommend a good quality alternative- and if the original mudguard bracket can be used? thanks
