Hi all, I have just bought a non runner that I am hoping to rebuild to get my daughter started in Trials. On stripping the head a barrel I can see the Big End has been siezed and will need replacing. I have seen some cheap cranks or Conrod Kits for the 50cc Scooters. Does anyone know if the Rev 50 has the same Crank / Con Rod as anything else that may have an aftermarket part available please? Bike is a 2005 Model Rev-50.

Hey, I'm a new Beta owner and I was just curious as to whether there were any really glaring issues that i should pay special attention to. Is there anything that anyone could tell me about my bike? I'm new to trials and as my name might suggest new to liquid cooled motorcycles (I've got an old Yamaha RD 400 and an old Triumph 500 twin). I'm really enjoying my new bike and if there are any specific issues or anyhting like that I'd love your input. Oh, also, if it makes any difference, the previous owner informed me that my particular bike was owned and ridden to a National Championship in the USA by Geoff Aaron. So I don't know if that changes any of the bike's cha…

Hi all, I recently swapped everything from a ‘94 motor and put it in a ‘97 I believe. Everything went well but now the engine is back in the frame the spark plug won’t spark. The plug was working fine before hand. So I don’t think it needs a new plug, followed all the wires and use a diagram and it all looks in place. Thanks, James

I'm doing a project that requires an inboard rear brake caliper, I think the Beta 4t rear brake calliper might be suitable. Has anyone got any pics of it removed, both sides, but especially the side next to swingarm required please.

Hi Guys, I have just replaced the rear brake lever on my '04 rev 3. The brake works very well, just that the lever seems to bind against the frame. If the bolt is left loose enough for the lever to spring back to where its ment to be there is too much "slop" and it can move over against the chain. If done up tight then it does not move freely, it binds against the frame. Is there a spacer that i am missing?, or should the bearing be sticking out more on one side than the other? The new lever had to be "tweaked" so as to let the chain move freely past it! I think the mounting lug on the frame is slightly bent, which obviously wont be helping the situation. …

HI All I am new to this so apolgoies if anything appears incorrect! We have the above motorcycle which misfires intermittently and gets better the hotter the bike gets. Its a single misfire and quickly redeems it self. I have ruled out poor fuel flow, carb issues, spark plug, ht lead and cap along with dodgy lanyard. Could it be the coil? If so, what method do you use to check it? Thanks for reading and all information greatly appreciated
