Hi everyone. I'm already on my second clutch cover gasket....AND...this might be because I'm not TOO good with the spanners, but they keep, kind of, working themselves out...and then of course the oil starts leaking out. Pretty irritating to have a bike thats always leaking!!...and its a pain to change since you have to take the bash plate off every time. ANyone else have this problem??...and..any advice would be greatly appreciated!...thanks

Are the Beta Rev50 (geared) suitable for a smallish 11year old, (has had auto before) are there any well known problems with them?, many thanks, any help greatly appreciated.

i am new to this seen and have just bought a 95 techno. i got it very cheap and have taken on a few gearbox problems. neutral is near impossable to find when the bike is running and third gear is where forth shoud be and vise versa. the guy that owned before me did the handy work. he said a circlip came of the selector shaft and had to be replaced. i have road bikes and am a novice diy mechanic. should i open it up. also . where would i find bushing for the rear suspension linkage. they are baddly worn.

Does anyone out there have issues with their Beta using too much fuel? At first I thought it could be something simple-like a dirty carb or float issues, but having thoroughly checked and cleaned it-it is still not quite right? Anyone with suggestions will be appreciated!

Trying to select neutral on my beta is a pig. been like this since new. is this a common fault with the box.

I am thinking of putting lights on my bike... What do i need to do this? I dont need it road legal, just a 'sidelight' front an back would do. Do i need a battery for this? or is there another way? As it is, there is no wiring for lights. After original style Supertrial, tr35 or even tr34 lights, can anyone help?

I just bought a 2000 Beta 270 and find that there is no throttle response for the 1st quarter turn of the throttle. I'm assuming its a jetting issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

will they fit on a 04 270?

Anyone know anything about the new 125? I have heard reports about earlier models being a bit down on power. I am thinking of changing from my 125 Sherco but would appreciate any info or reports on the latest 05.

just picked up the new bike yesterday,as did G .RASP could you please tell us what is the best fuel/oil mix and also the ngk plug number as the new bikes came with champion plugs fitted,we were thinking of around 70/1-80/1 as this is what we ran the sherco and montesa at thanks

Not sure what to get next year, Has the Rev 3 got any serious problems I should look out for ? 2002 to present day version. I'd be looking at either 250 or 270, much difference? Cheers Guys

Short of buying an '04 Rev3 with the additional mount on the mid-muffler - does anyone else have trouble with the rubber isolator shearing off or breaking? This is starting to get expensive... at $4.50 per. Maybe I should loosen the exhaust at the cylinder, tighten up the mid-muffler mount and THEN tighten the exhaust flange at the cylinder... I'm guessing I have too much mis-alignment as is.

I have a small problem with the front wheel, its rubbing on the disk I think, but im not sure......Anybody had similar problem? Lloyd

Can anyone tell mewhat is the correct mixture i should be using when mixing my petrol.....? Currentlymixing at 50:1...... Using Silkolene comp2 pre-mix oil I have (what has now been identified as) a '92 BETA SuperTrial(aircooled) Anyone recommend any better oil? What do you all use?

hey, i have a 98 beta techno, is there any way i can improve low down power, or overall power. ive just repacked silencer, how can i get more power from the packing and could i fit different jets? thanks

I have a 1997 techno and a service manual/ video for the Gas Gas of similar years. Did the Gas Gas use the same forks? They look the same. (before they started to make their own). The video shows that you force down the clear anodized piece around the seal to expose the seal for removal. Is this the removal procedure for the '97 techno? (I have never seen one like this.)

i have a 1998 techno 200, when the bike is lent on an angle the petrol drips out of a pipe, at the bottom, i read somewhere this pipe was to give it pressure but not sure. i have had the float out made sure it is not bent, it still leaking is there a cure for this? thanks

Does anyone know the torque settings for the cylinder head and base on beta 250 techno 1997? Also is there anything I need to look out for when draining and refilling the radiator? Thanks
