Just Curious if anyone is going to ride at Columbus. Homer and Marvin are planning to just wondering if anyone else is planning on going. They had only 2 riders at south carolina. They have lowered the entry fee to $50 and trials inc has a trial within a hour the next day.

Michiana Trials Riders hosted the first MOTA points event for the 2010 season. Mother Nature did not cooperate and we recieved over 3" of rain in 48 hours. Despite the weather the event was well attended with 70 riders on Saturday and 57 remaining to gut it out on Sunday. The most exciting attendees were the youth riders with 8 on Saturday and 9 on Sunday, none were lost in the heavy rains and humongous mudpuddles. Our hats go off to Scott DeBolt for helping organize and working the youth comp instead of preparing for his own Expert class battle. Michiana muddy mishaps included, David "Biff" Knapp swinging in full riding gear into the deep end of the pond, the fish were …

  5. So as I prepare for a two week vacation in Europe starting this week I am reflecting on some of the cool things I will be missing and what I need to make my way to when I get back. In Michigan this weekend near Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) we have the crew from Whitmore lake aka Metro Trials putting on their event: http://www.motatrials.com/11-metro Also this weekend in Columbus IN is Stoney Lonesome... Epic property with a two day event that will leave you tired and a great smile on your face.... http://www.trialsinc.org/?trigger=sch2&ID=32 Then almost as soon as I get off the plane I'm off to just South of Lansing for the Michigan Vermontville event Mid Mich…

I'll be going down to Tish for the Rock Creek national (I'll be handling tech inspection for some reason) and as far as I know we will be using the new "Clubman" line. As we're the first Trial of the season, it will be very interesting as to how it works. I personally think it's a great idea and should open up competition for new riders who otherwise would not try a National event plus allow twinshocks to compete. I remember, as a noobie in the 70's, I signed up for my very first Trial at Hollister Hills in Northern California and found it pretty tough, but I did finish, sore and tired. Only later did I find out I had entered a U.S. National........ Jon

  19. The 2009 Columbia Cup Event Information - Brought to you by Puget Sound Trialers (PST) and Columbia Observed Trials Association (COTA) May 16 & 17 2009 will be the sixth anniversary of The Columbia Cup fundraiser trials. The event started as an excuse for a few of us from the wetter part of the Northwest to come down to Goldendale, WA and ride the dry grippy rocks. The City of Goldendale welcomes the riders every year and with the cooperation of the local landowners it is a very nice venue for our annual event. Over the years the event has been a major fundraiser for the USA and Canadian TdN Teams and the PNTA Junior Nationals riders. For 2009 we will once again…
