I have been restoring a 1959 Triumph T20s Tiger Cub. The lower bottom parts of the forks are rusted too bad. Does anyone know where I could buy them or if another bike uses that part? PBill

  4. we've got quite a few new members joining the club so thought i'd whip up a quick guide for the club's website. posted here in case it's useful to others, but also would appreciate any feedback and suggestions as i'm still only one year into trials myself - thanks in advance. it's just meant to be for newcomers and avoids getting into specific brands.... New to trials? There's no rush to buy expensive trials gear and it's common to see new club members using the same protective gear they use for dirt, adventure or even road riding until they get an idea of what they'll need to buy. We will just cover the basics without getting into specific brands of gear. Until the 19…

im new to the sport and got my first trial coming up soon. at the moment I don't own a pair of trials or any other type of motorcycle boot. I asked the club chairman if a pair of hiking type ankle high boots would be ok and he quoted me this from the acu rule book, TSR.12 clothing must cover legs and body and it is recommended that arms should be covered.boots of approximately knee length made of leather, rubber or plastic must be worn. does this mean I will get away with my work wellies (neoprene and rubber) until I get round to buying a proper pair of boots ? thanks in advance

I have a road racing ACU licence, and with this i get discount at many many shops and companies, with Arai selling helmets with an official ACU discount at something like 40% off which is brilliant. Does anyone know if this translates to the trials world??? I'm in need of boots and a lid when i get a bike, hopefully within the week. I've got to wear ACL knee braces so will be getting some mx pants to fit them under, and have gloves, but still, if i could save some dosh... Thanks Bongo

Can someone tell me how to remove the liner from an Airoh helmet. The side "ear" pieces snap out. The rear of the main liner also snaps out but how do you get the front of the main liner loose? Are there instructions somewhere?

  16. Started by monteeman,

Hello, im getting back into the sport, and need a new helmet. When I did trials about 15 years ago I used a shoei tr trials helmet, and it was great, quality design vents that worked etc. Unfortunately I put it on the end of my handlebars when checking out a section, the bike fell off its stand and punched a neat handlebar sized hole through the shell. Anyway my budget wont stretch to another shoei, so ive been looking at the airohs. They look like kryten from red dwarf designed them, but you cant have everythiing I have a few questions for you. Are the liniings removable? I would hope so, but none of the ads really say. 2nd the vents,…

Hi guys and gals, Ive decided to get back into trials after a 5 year hiatus. I have since realised the old lid is a bit out of date and doesnt comply with some of the ruleing here in South Aus. Ive done a bit of research and I think I will swing with the airoh, unfortunalty there are no local trials shops in my area that stock airoh trials helmets and id much prefer not to be left buying blind.. However I use an airoh fullface helmet for motocross and I highly recommend it. I was wondering if anyone knows how close the sizing is between the airoh models?

  18. Started by miner,

Long time no posts… I finally got round to buying a new lid, can’t find the old post I started but just wanted to share that I bought an Airoh TTR-S (convert red, white & blue 🇬🇧) and it is indeed very well vented. My first Airoh, tidy lid. Stacks up ok along side the Arai and 6D lids in the fleet. Cheers for the pointers.

  19. Just wanted to see if anyone is using Alipinestars Tech 3, 7 or 10 for trials use? they look light weight and flexible so how different are they compared to the Alpinestars No Stop boots? they sure as hell look a lot cooler! ;-)
