Four-Stroke

Is there any weak spots on the tlr200s to look out for? How do you tell a reflex from a trials tlr? what sort of money would get a good one? James

Hi, Just a question...how do you think the manufactures will deal with selling the new four stokes? Montesa for example, god knows how many 04 bikes they produce, but around most are already brought before they are realised (though deposits). The Four Stroke Honda (in my opinion) will be highly requested, as will other brands when their 4 strokes come out. Although the rule isn't in place till 2006, requests for these bikes will be massive. How will manufactures deal with this massive request? What are your opinions?

Does anyone know if sherco have sorted their hot starting problem on the 4 stroke 320 yet ??

I can potter around all day on it no bother,as soon as you grab a big piece of throtle it's like you hit the kill switch. Bit reluctant to start but not too bad, five or six kicks from cold after i'd had the fuel pump out looking for crap, and three kicks when hot. I've give it a basic service recently as I thought it was going down hill a bit. I've put the old air filter back in to check that the new one isn't restrictive,still no joy. No crap in the tank really, just a bit of slight dust. The bike is an 05 and I got a spare throtle body with box of bits that came with the bike,so guess it's had a new one at some point. Don't seem to hear much about the Montesa or the Sherco these days, what are the owners views on the bikes now they have had chance to give them a good testing? Would love to own a montesa in 12 months if the funds will allow, my local dealer was telling me alot of folks who bought them don't seem to be getting on with the fourstroke. Any thoughts from the horses mouth so to speak

Hi i was up at a local big trial and i seen a 2015 beta 300 4t what is the price of parts on beta, iwas told they where expensive is this true i have heard they are better than the montesa 4rt 260 cota. Could you give me your opinion.

I have a fabulous Cub that had a Montesa conical hub rear wheel in it which worked very well and polished up nicely almost matching the REH in the front. I have since sourced a REH rear and sold on the Montesa rear wheel. I am having a clear out in the garage and found a 66T 420 pitch Talon sprocket I had made for the Montesa rear wheel. If anyone is using a similar wheel and would like this sprocket it is free of charge as long as you collect or cover the postage. The sprocket number is TR232.
