Hi Snobbly.
There will be a begginers route and there won't be anything too challenging or daunting, I will be helping with setting out. This venue is quite large so you will get a good ride between sections too.
Come and say Hi, I will be riding an old Gas Gas 350, or a TLR 200 , I haven't made my mind up yet.

You would be lucky to find that in a 14 year old Beta, from what i have heard.

I have Betor shocks on both of my Honda's. TL are normal way (spring near the top) TLR are up the other way, But I think it is just for clearance for the spring. I am also pretty sure the fitting guide says they can go either way.
I am also pretty sure some will only work up one way.

Yes, just do it, the between section bit really does'nt matter at all. Have fun and as has been said already if you do get stuck someone will give you a hand.
The trial is'nt in Canterbury, Kent is it?

Actually I have had similar Issues, and as said if you have helped set up the trial or maybe set it all up, you probably didn't look that hard before riding, Tiredness is another issue if you have been climbing around sections the day before.
I have found that Drinking quite a bit during the first lap helps (with cramp too) as the first lap is always the hardest for me.

concentration issues, I have experienced days when I, er, er, yes some days it's worse, or Sundays usually, the day after Saturday I er, er prefer red bikes for some reason, I er, er must feed the cat and I must get a cat, that reminds me, is that the time?
No never had a problem with it.

Hi I think some of the later bikes have additional seals, they will not fit your bike.

If you keep the front wheel in the air, less chance of getting a puncture!

put the forks back on the bike to undo top caps, then remove from bike. Don't over tighten clamp bolts, the clamps do snap.
not sure on your actual forks but the bottom bolt can be undone with an air gun or battery impact gun, (assuming the internal is spinning) make sure you clean out the head of the allen bolts so that tool fits all the way in.

I may have got this wrong (won't be the first time) but I thought the guy that started the Scorpa company and then later sold it to concentrate on the Sherco company.
Then bought scopa back again when it was struggling,. to save the brand name from going bust.
I personally like the new scorpa more than the Sherco, Although I haven't ridden either.

pop it in to your local garage or bike shop and get them to use an air gun on it.

As above, the stop is not welded on my bike, at least I don't think it is. I am sure I did the clutch on mine with the
engine in place.

It does sound like the fluid is not returning to the reservoir, take the rubber boot off behind the lever and make sure the plunger is moving freely. There is a spring in there and they do wear out.

Check the earth wire under the tank just in front of the seat, I think its green, clean the connection and make sure its tight. I had exactly that problem, ran fine till you revved it, then it would pop and bang.

Just wondered Maxbikes, how the gearing on the CG engine works for trials, I have an engine that I intend to rebuild one day as my TL has the cam shaft rattle but wasn't sure if the gearing would be too far spaced.

A "RIGID" wins the" TWINSHOCK" class, I always thought those bouncy bits at the back were just a gimmick!!

It really bugs me when I hear statements like, the " ORIGINAL KILL SWITCH IS VERY POOR" The most important safety feature on the bike and Beta can't be bothered to fit one that functions properly. You don't really get much for your money when you buy a trials bike compared to a road bike the manufacturers could do better.
(not just Beta)

It could be your lucky day then, just release adjuster until you have a little free movement on the lever and give it a go. If you have no slack then you are effectively riding with the clutch partially disengaged.
If you have an adjuster at both ends, adjust the bottom one first then use the one on the lever to fine tune it if needed.
