  3. i see this nearly every week now, people need to step up there security or maybe just as simple as removing a wheel making mobility difficult or rendering them useless to the would be thief ,also be careful at trials as they are known to ride mx bikes off whilst at tracks with everyone around

  7. been as wheel and chain is still turning when coasting and noise goes it stands not to be one of these ,if there is metal found in gear box oil it sounds like there is a problem in the gear box or clutch side ,therefore strip clutch side out and see what find if nothing then the cases need splitting

  15. sounds like it does need to go up on the main if the filter is clean and oiled ,try a 130 with clip in the middle
  16. if it starts on choke its not getting enough fuel from the pilot system ie pilot jet blocked or too small or the mixture screw is set wrong
  17. as above wait until tried the new points and condensor
  18. whats wrong with the way it runs ,been that the clip is on the bottom it may need to go a size up on the main but it depends on how it is running not the way other bikes are running
  19. dirt in a jet will cause less fuel and run lean , it seems the needle is higher or the air is restricted ,,ie less air = running rich or if you restrict the exhaust it will run rich did you oil the filter
  20. jetting can not suddenly change but after working on a bike you can upset something cause a blockage or air leak if the air flow changes it gives incorrect jetting symptoms if jets are incorrect for some reason it will run lean causing pinking running hot and a white plug ,running rich will cause it to be spluttery smokey wet out the exhaust black wet plug getting fouled and causing weak spark it sounds like something you have changed
  21. i think this is already in the making poss new greeves trials bike or norton villiers has one currently going through patent
  22. not sure how modern forks deal with the air ,earlier 80,s cotas had a very small pin hole in the cap to allow for air to escape ,but it must be something you have done ?? or changed
