    Sections...?

Hey all ; I've got a chance to buy a real clean ,low hours 97 section for a reasonable price ... Are they worth the effort or should I just keep to my TS Fantics. I've been thinking of polishing the frame and running minimal plastic for a unique twist , (and to save all the nice oe. plastic ... ) Did they work well ??? Glenn
  2. Thanks for that ... Just another delay ... But I may obtain a spotless 97 section 250 near me ... Just because ...I need more Fantics And I want to make my own C@sta ... for fun ... Glenn
  3. Hey all ; As I've just obtained a 300 front brake plate for my 240 (waiting on shipping ) And I've got 2 sets of unused EBC front 240 shoes , Do they use the same shoes ???? With my luck they won't ... Glenn

    240 Forks

The manual says 220cc per leg . With the Wes springs and spacers in mine , I use Bel Ray 7wt at the moment and like the action . You can play with different weights and see what works for you . Glenn
  11. On my TL125 , when I was 12 or so , (bike was new !) I cased it hard enough to crack the left case and shear a couple of case bolts ... My Dad had a machinist/welder buddy and needless to say a week later I had my bike back ... It can be repaired , you just need to find someone with the skill to do it ... And he also built a skidplate from a Ossa pioneer bottom and welded wings on it for the TL side cases ... Worked a treat ! Glenn
  12. Found out it's actually RAL 3000 Fire red or something like that ,but 3020 is deeper and redder ,,, looks better IMHO !!!!
  13. I beleive it's RAL3020 Traffic red ....

  17. Tony ; That Yamaha looks superb !!! Does it work as good as it looks ? (I know your bikes usually do ! ) I'll still never forget my brief putt about on your RE .... you need a shot of that here too ... Hope all is well out west . Glenn
  18. I think with a little hunting you can find the specs you need here http://www.fantictrials.co.uk/ for download . And look at the machined surface below the carb on the right top of the case and you will find the model # for the engine... I beleive . Glenn
  19. When hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast, even houses of worship were not spared. A local television station interviewed a black woman from New Jersey and asked how the loss of churches in the area would affected their lives. Without hesitation, the woman replied, "I don't know 'bout all those other people, but we ain't gone to Churches in years. We gets our chicken from Popeye's." The look on the interviewer's face was priceless. They live among us, AND THEY VOTE. Now, do you understand how we got our president? May have to be a yank to get that ...
