What sort of price are rockshocks these days, they look good to me as you can service them yourself
-
Have used Betors on a few bike had no problems, got 3 months out of the Falcons I bought before they leaked They wanted
-
Seems even though times are hard these bikes are still selling for top of money, mine didn't sell on ebay but went later through a wanted ad on this sight., I wouldn't take much notice of what happens on ebay, as I know a few people that have failed to sell there bikes recently on ebay, but they have gone for the asking price a few weeks later.

The only one I can see is up to

Hi I've just bought a bike and have stripped it to find what needs replacing, its has a new Domino throttle and cable, as I'm on quite a tight budget I was hoping to use these again. Is there anyway to tell if it's a slow pull or fast pull throttle. Thanks in advance

Hi all, I have stripped the front and rear hubs on my 240 ready for blasting, unfortunately the bearing seals in both were trash and I wasn't able to read the sizes. Does anyone know what size seals I need for the front and back hub. Thanks in advance Mark.
-
Hi can anyone tell by how much down and back, people have altered the foot rest position on there 240 please. Also wheres the best place to get the rubber pad that protects the swing arm pivot. Thanks in advance Mark.

Hi johnny
I have just sold one, I did the Manx 2 day last year, there are all types of sections you will come across. The mont had no trouble with anything and more than enough power for my 14 stone frame, that said its ok for clubman class, but would not compete with the fantics in the expert class as things had moved on by then. So if you ride trials for fun it's a great bike, if your a pot hunter then maybe buy something else.

Yes guilty that was my bike in classic dirt bike issue 1, It wasn't finished then it looked a lot better later on. Anyway back to the carb. Yes you are better buying genuine mikuni, because the quality of some of the copies cant be guaranteed, like triplex has said just ring somebody like allens performance etc and tell them what bike its for you wont be the first to have asked.
-
http://www.tytrials.co.uk/ speak to these people Im sure they do a manual on a CD
-
I fitted a Mikuni to my model 80 when I fully restored it, the difference it made to the bike was amazing. The rubber should still fit not sure about the cable.
-
Thats great you can pm me your number, if is its any good so I can arrange payment
-
Thanks for that will give it a try
-
Hi
Can anybody tell me whether the head off any other Fantic is the same as the 240, as mine has a few fins missing
Thanks
-
I have lost one of the insoles out of my boots ( don't ask ) they are Diadora Stone, but they have gone into liquidation so I cant get some from them. Has anybody any ideas of what else I cant use and what will fit as they are really uncomfortable without them in.
Cheers

Thanks for the advise will try it when I get a chance

Hi all
Does anybody know where or how I can get dents removed from the front pipe on my 240, they are on the bend just near the engine, I live in the North West any help would be good
Thanks
-
Hi all
Just picked a half tidy 240, I have been going through it to see what it needs and found that the clutch is slipping quit badly. When I checked there is no free play or adjustment left at the lever end, could someone talk me through the process of how to adjust the clutch and what oil to use so I can try this before I pull it apart, as the rest of the engine is really good.
Regards Mark

Andy I used to ride twinshock MX back in the day. Everybody used Castrol R30 or R40 as it was one of only things that was any good at the time. I have never seen it used as gear oil on a 2 stroke, we all used it as pre mix oil at about 20:1, Castrol made gear oil for 2 strokes at the time call Castrolight, which was really light. So most people used that. Could be that the R40 is to thick for your gearbox as I remember it being quite gooey, but ahh the smell (takes me back).
