  13. Scorpa, with long ride kit is just the ticket for dual use, great compromise and looks superb.... Only snag is the cost of the longride kit, but if a relatively cheap sy250 can be found, go for it.. As i have done. S,M.
  14. you could also spend the equivilant of 4/5 packets of fags and treat yourself to a proper flywheel holding tool, which will do virtually any bike flywheel... S,M.
  15. having just fitted a new float needle, i expected all to be well ,but the bike floods like hell, and i only got it started with fuel off / plug dried a few times,. I am assuming the float level is wrong, is there a std. starting height procedure for this carbs floats ? Or any other reasons for petrol to almost pour out of exhaust on kickover!!!! thanks. S.M.

    Tlr250 Weight?

Having just tried my "new" TLR250 tonight, i can confirm that it feels a fair bit lighter than the old cota 348, ok so they werent excactly head to head when new, so i s'pose the tlr should have advanced ahead of the 348.... main thing on the tlr for me is lighness of clutch lever, not a trillion miles off my 03 scorpa.................so maybe only a couple of kg's difference in weight, but for me ,1st impressions are that the tlr was certainly heading in the right direction. And is miles more Modern than other earlyish 80's t/shox. S.M.
