I have recently fitted a weight to my raga 300, its still bloody wild. but a good investment for a twit like me as it makes it fractionally less likely to spit you out!!!! And please no smart alecs telling me i should have got a 200 or similiar as "thats all my minimal skills can handle"... Having seen off 40 xmas's i will ride whatsoever i please.!!! s.m.
  2. Funnily enough,i went to Porto (1983) away with a bus from Glasgow, and there was a gang from Redcar we picked up en-route, happy daze indeed.!!
  3. Nah?, quite right . I havent been to a pre season for years either. come to think of it, i have been to about 6 league games in 6 years . used to hardly miss a game home/away/europe at one time... S.M.
  4. I cant wait until your crappy team comes to Ibrox this pre season. hope youll be there cota kid. see a quality stadium quality support and hopefully a quality team......................... S.M.

Anyone know if you can rebore the RTL cylinder to oversize? I see oversize pistons may be available. cheers S.M.
  6. you havin a laugh? I couldnt give a toss about portugal, or england . what i did and still do find amusing is somehow as per usual pundits and media alike down your way had england in the final as soon as the group stages were over.....Talk about big headed !! Only reason most scots/welsh irish want england out asap is to save the many hours of crap on OUR tv's day after day. s.m.
  7. Aye nae luck there eh?? Tragic. Shearer and wrightys reactions were comic !! worst 2 teams in the 1/4ers by a country mile IMO.. s.m.

7-8 NM. according to manual. my 05' manual has a page of torque specs.!! s.m.
  13. If its any consolation my 05' raga starts easily, but as mentioned above , no girlies need apply. reminds me of an appropriate old saying "no'somethin for weans(kids) to be playin' wi'" ....excuse the Glasgow accent s.m.
  14. Ok let me get this straight, it sounds to me like you cant just get on and ride your trials bike on your own land without planning permission??? is this just in England? what a ridiculous scenario... Is this the same in scotland? s.m.

  16. As title, can anyone tell me if you can get the flashy anodised adjusters that will fit the levers on my raga rep? both clutch and brake have the small allen head adjusters fitted. i have tried both the jitsie ones (wrong thread) and the hebo ones(too large bolt size). thanks S.M.
  17. Thats great guys, thanks a bundle. S.M.
  18. Just looking for a few pointers in setting up the rear shock unit on the 2005 raga 300pro. Whats adjustable etc etc and how. thanks S.M.
  19. Well got it fitted ,easy peasy, my best friends were, correct flywheel puller/ flywheel band type locking tool/torque wrench and loktite!!! Oh, I liked it so much i now own the stupid bike!!! Toys eh??? cheers S.M.
  20. For clarity i have asked gasgas and their flywheel weight has top hat type nuts which mount inside flywheel ,hence no tapping of the drilled holes on f/wheel...as per hebo one. still have to remove to fit. I will most certainly be getting a before and after ride on this bike!!!! thanks guys S.m.
  21. A friend who isnt too handy with the spanners has asked me to fit a flywheel weight to his Raga 300rep 05'....Its a genuine gasgas supplied weight kit. Anything to look out for doing this job? Is it fairly straightforward? only ask in advance as i havent got the kit with me yet.. cheers S.M.
  22. Well, until someone can do a direct comparison with other fork oils for me i dont know how to rate it? And halfords fork oil is better than no fork oil.
  23. Take it you dont rate halfords oil then?

Dunno, my 270 as bought has obviously no flywheel weight but a slow throttle and from limited play in my yard did not feel "mad" in any way, unless you have a fairly bendy right wrist!! And i am a total novice. maybe it aint pulling/tuned right?? S.M.
  25. Yep, should have said there is a small amount of "sag" when riderless.. but a lot less than before. S.m.
