  1. Now on Midland Centre website.
  2. All sections should in theory be ridden in order, farthest clean tie break can also be affected by this but at most closed circuit trials the organisers are happy for things to get moving, only sure way is to ask when signing on how that club feels about it
  3. Yes, British Experts was held Saturday before Remembrance Sunday, was usually a good day spectating, long time ago now.
  4. Mine is 13/58 and has low 2nd gear
  5. Results on Home Page - News Feed, now on second row down.
  6. Thanks lads, glad you enjoyed it, rain just as we started to mark out sections was the last thing we wanted but thought we had allowed for it until it started again the same time as signing on, very slippy venue when wet but most seemed to enjoy it, thanks to all who supported the club. Pete has already got the results on front page.
  7. 3 & 4 for battery bracket, 2 & 5 for battery cover now I have found parts, have sent you a message as I know we should not sell in forums, hope it has got to you ok
  8. Give me a little time to make sure what I have got, I will let you know and we can take it from there.
  9. I had a 1988 TY250S new and agree with the previous posts, battery box was at points 2,3,4,5, but may not have used all of them, I am pretty sure all the parts removed at new, except horn, brake light switch and handlebar switch (used on a trail bike) are still in a box in the store shed, hope you do restore it, mine was probably the bike I most enjoyed riding and gave me some good results.
  10. Some Ossa Mar's did use Amal Concentric 627 carbs, 627 means 600 series, 27mm bore. the 429 stamped on it relates to the original set up by Amal (Jet sizes, slides etc) I had a list some years ago but it was lost long ago. I actually have a new 627 carb body and 2.5 slide bought years ago and never used. Could do with Woody reading this, he will probably know the best set up as he has had several Ossas.

    315R Help

I had 99 and 02 315's the 99 had 10/40 sprockets and the 02 had 10/42, think rear size was changed with 01 model, same time as red tank appeared.
  12. Congratulations Derek, great guy and superb trials enthusiast, met through staying in same accommodation in Fort William for SSDT, always a gentleman with great knowledge of the sport for so many years.

    Shock Bushes

If you have an old Mini spares supplier near you go and have a look at shock absorber bushes (same front & rear), I have used these in the past as used to work at dealership but cannot now remember part number, might be worth taking shocker with you.
  14. Never had one so not certain but I think you should connect extra tank with a T-piece into normal fuel line, perhaps someone who has had one will confirm this.
  15. Cannot find post code, have it somewhere but if you look on trial calender on Stourbridge T.C. trial details a map is shown. Directions take A442 from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth venue on right approx four miles from Kidderminster signed with Castrol arrows at entrance (Shatterford Lakes is next property). Start Time is 1pm (Short day), Turn up 12ish earlier if you like have a look round and sign on, Entry fee £13 Club Membership for 2014 (if reqd) is still £4. Hope to see you there.
  16. Steve Jones is Progressive Classics and is often found at BMCA Trials either riding a Rigid AJS or Observing, if you are near the West Midlands might be worth a look and chat one Sunday morning, trial at Bitterley, Nr Clee Hill coming Sunday.
  17. Have a look at www.jawel.co.uk under workshop equipment item no. J3122. I have had one a couple of years, makes things so much easier especially with trials riders knees, well recommended.
  18. Pinky has front disc brake as standard and I seem to remember different rear shock and possibly slightly modded linkage. I had a pinky and before that a 1988 "S" model with modded air box and rear silencer as was usual, the pinky motor was probably a bit stronger but both were great bikes, you will not be dissapointed with any version if you can find one in decent condition. Hope this helps Dave.
  19. BMCA Trial this Sunday is at Shatterford, has been corrected today on BMCA Website. See you there all being well.
  20. We are in same centre as Pete_Scorpa3, club name begins with same letter but we have nothing yet, e-mailed ACU yesterday, no reply yet, I have already received my trials reg renewal, thought it would have been best to send out numbers to all clubs before reg forms were sent out.
  21. I see from another post you are going to the BMCA trial on Sun, suggest a word with Jim Pickering, he is one of the organisers, I believe he uses these on his Drayton Bantams, if not he will advise you, very helpful guy, I dont know if my Bantam has one as it was complete when I bought it, you are welcome to try it if we meet at a BMCA trial, will not make it on Sun as we (Stourbridge T.C.) have a trial Sat and will not have time, but hope to do the next two or three trials.
  22. www.bmca.org.uk shows a full list of dates for 2011-2012
  23. Yes it is, I had a 247 many years ago and needed to change crank seal, took an 18ton hydraulic puller left in place for a couple of hours to move it, when it came off motor jumped about ten feet across workshop, not a nice job.
  24. Stourbridge T.C. have a trial at Howards Wood, Prestwood (A449) on Sat 23rd July 2pm start. Our "A" Route is intended to be a reasonably challenging clubman route and the "B" Route intended for beginners, occasional riders and anyone wanting an enjoyable afternoon riding some sensible sections. See Events section for all details, you will be very welcome if you fancy it.
