Na, sherco forever, just pulled my motor down after 6 years of pretty strong use, absoloutely mint, 1 seal was all it needed, but am replacing three bearings and seals and the rings, not bad considering it was previously owned by a nz champ who only knew one throttle settling,BBRRRAAARRRPPP, full noise only. The bore was perfect and there was a miniscule bit of blowby past the rings. Guess what the next one will be ? Cheers from NZ.

Boyo, having just read of Big Kev's missives, he is right, actually he rode with us in christchurch, where we have thousands of places to go and no queues, shame he had to go back, we had a lot of fun.
if you want a contact in the south island let me know, Christchurch is probably the strongest and most accessable clubs and areas to ride, if not my brother competes in auckland so could be a contact there. Cheers.

Hi from new zealand, i ride the same bike, brilliant, seem to be a way more rugged and reliable than all my riding compatriots GAsGAS's.
Watch the water pump seal, i had to do an upgrade on that to the new twin seal version, now faultless. Have had to detune topend by using richer jet, as it was too stroppy for me, and at my age i don't need longer arms. Good choice.

Thats why they are called floating disks ,must have some movement or they are not floaters .Just a thought.

Which way to increase damping on the rear shock ? clockwise or?.I have been bottoming out slightly on bigger landings.

Hi from New Zealand I use 8o/1 Aviation gas and Motul 600tt. Putoline was the worst oil I ever used ,in one trial it fouled 4 plugs absolutely awful .For the gear box ,it always sticks for about 5/10 secs thats all,I use elf htx absolutely brilliant ,gear changes and finding neutral an absolute breeze. And believe me I have tried all sorts.Welcome to the Sherco club and enjoy it .

Change your jetting to richen it up and flatten the bike off a bit ,pilot first then ,slide needle .

Tried a 320 last weekend for the first time,glorious,started first kick every time ,and although i only rode it for 1 round it gave me the best round of the day.If god was riding trials his tee shirt would say 320 4 ever.I don't know what you lot are moaning about.

maybe a bit late but in New zealand I use Aviation fuel leaded and 80/1 motul 600 ,tried putaline but in two bikes i owned it caused me more problems and fouled plugs than i want to remember.
Plus the markers learn't a whole new language on those days ,as it cost me two trials place finishes.
We are just getting 98 unleadedhere now,but yet to try it.
