  1. A72 to Galashiels A6091 to A68 Newstead left to Earlston turn right on to A6105 right then left in Greenlaw for Duns Just before Duns take Longformaus road you should see the golf coarse on left I here it is near to the motox track
  2. The brake plate buts up against the righthand fork leg the hub just clears the left The speedo is only driven from the rear wheel (r/h side). The front spindle goes in from the left with nut on the right side

  4. My 03 Rev3 200 also did this I blamed the deep water in the first section but failed completely at the furthest out point and at the bottom of the hill On return to workshop it was a stator failure that was the second one It would start when cold then slowly died the Cdi coil braking down
  5. How is the exhuast system if choked may give the same effect by not letting the gasses out freely

    I have observed at the SSDT and the rider should get the benifit of the doubt.It is not easy to do in the wind rain and snow for hour on end and without at break If the club had continued the stopping rule the trial would not be running today as the entry fell below covering the cost of running it The late Willy Dalling went back to non stop now try get an entry you might be lucky

The kick start return spring is fitted out side on the kick start shaft just above the gear box out put sprocket I think there is a coil spring that pushes the ratchet gear out in to mesh but I only have a poor copy and it is not that clear to see On return it hits a stop that pulls it out of mesh It is a long time since I had to pull one apart

    You are right John you and I have had plenty of them I fit a thin strip of rubber on the top tubes to stop the rear of the tank rubbing

  11. Itis just a push on fit straight shaft Thereis two lenths depending if your motor has one or two drive side bearings my 175 has the short one but had an older 250 it had a longer one enquire at In Motion a site sponcer
  12. The bobbin you talk about is a wear sleave for the seal to sit on rather than groove the crank Yes there is a small O ring between it and the bearing to seal the sleave and shaft. Cannot remember if there is alip on the outer side against the flywheel as I have not had mine of for along time
  13. I have done both of the above on my old Sherco and my current Beta REV3 It now only sticky if very cold in winter or sat for many months
