  1. Why don't you send Sherco a mail to ask them?
  2. the "tea bag" filter is only there to protect the fuel pump, the really fine filter is in the small round metal container that sits on top of the fuel pump.
  3. You can clean the "tea bag" fuel filter in the tank with carburetor cleaner (or brake cleaner) and compressed air. Haven't come across a replacement filter yet.
  4. For slow speeds, mountain bike lights might suffice, I've used them on a night trial event (one on the handlebars and one on my helmet), not sure that they're suitable at the higher speeds that are ridden in enduro though.
  5. I bought mine here: (scroll about 1/3 of the page down) http://www.handdracing.co.uk/userimages/procart2.htm But I've never heard of a 250 or 260 4RT with cooling problems, so the standard radiator should be fine when everything else is ok. .
  6. Frame completely bolted together out of pieces of straight tube, nice.

    Electrex Ignition

It was about 1kg lighter than the original, so about 2kg It looks exactly like this one: https://www.powerdynamo-shop.com/shop/show_product.php?products_id=680

    Electrex Ignition

Mine was a direct fit. Just follow the instructions. Even the ignition timing was fairly correct when I mounted it according to the instructions, only a minor adjustment was needed because I'm a perfectionist. The flywheel came with a suitable puller included. And the lighter flywheel is an advantage in my books; it makes the engine more responsive.

    Electrex Ignition

I've got a very similar system, same brand coil and flywheel, and I really like the lighter flywheel: makes the engine more responsive. The German system is a lot cheaper though. Wish I knew that before I bought it from the French webstore. DOH! http://www.francetrialclassic.com/en/ignition/1280-bultaco-trial-electronic-ignition.html
  10. Even more often. The time it's not running will be very short. But I guess as long as it's not spitting out coolant, you're ok. Maybe you could measure the time it's not running and compare it with someone else's 250 4RT, to put you at ease. There's a reason why one recommends to install a larger radiator when using 280 or 300cc big bore kits. I've got one on my 300RR just to be sure.
  11. Yes, it's normal that the fan runs often.
  12. Hi and welcome. You're certainly in the right place to expand your knowledge.
  13. Great! Always wondered how the camshaft of a radial engine worked.

    Electrex Ignition

But don't forget to check behind the ignition cover now and again. My electronic ignition almost drowned.
  15. It was. A great location, nice sections, friendly people and good food. What more could one wish for.
  16. Production of the 300RR has started today.
  17. I've got these S3 pegs with 10 mm setback on my Bultaco. I also moved the brackets a bit back, but wanted pegs with additional setback. https://bvm-moto.co.uk/Trials%20Parts%20Clothing%20and%20Accessories%20/Footrests%20and%20Hangers?product_id=3027
  18. It will definitely be worth the wait. But it's probably the same as last year when they postponed the delivery date a few times.

  20. I'm currently trying this system out. Makes it able to put the bike very close to the side, so there's more room for other stuff.
  21. I've used varifocal glasses for everything including trials and mountain biking, with no problem whatsoever for several years now. I got used to them fairly easy, as others complained they had difficulty climbing stairs and such. The same goes for the bifocal glasses I use at work. The only problem I have, is adjusting to my sport glasses wich are single distant focus. They make me slightly dizzy when looking at obstacles close by. It takes about 15 minutes to get used to them. I've tried contact lenses but couldn't get used to them, to much irritation. I'm hope I can get my eyes "lasered" one day, when my eyesight doesn't deteriorate anymore.
