If you choose wisely with the beta you shouldn't have to many problems with a 11-12 year. Plenty of decent stuff if your patient and don't jump in to soon and buy the first thing you see.
I would of said it was a 98/99 with the black front pipe and plastics the colour they are. You need the VIN number to tell the actual year. But it is a trials bike, and it will have cosmetic imperfections. I would say your not far off the right money as it was.
I may be wrong but that's just my opinion and I wouldn't say it was that Tatty to be fair.

Ok I'll re-phase that, my 2008 Rev3 had one, my new Evo has one so I presumed they were fitted as standard to all Manufactures bikes and not just to the the best ones
