  1. get a standard 125 and then see if you need to tune it up and if you do theres plenty of kit you can put on them
  2. got it this morning as well and totally agree! Amazing
  3. i rode the event and was not out of time but did have to rush. John i don't know what or how you were involved with the event but i also got stuck at section three with not your son holding me up (AS iow)but mainly the people that were not willing to make a fair attempt at the section or the type of people that would rather have a good go at there dads than get there B***DY bike out of the section. i did get through section 3 most time but if you've got a complaint to make then put it to the club rather than sitting here and not making your view heard.I believe that AS iow is totally in the right and do you find it fair that people have to travel all those miles and then having to withdraw? i know coming from Leeds that a total travel time of 12 hours and then hotel cost must be heart breaking for nothing.i was happy with the severity of the sections but time was once again an issue, i know a couple of mates from Barnsley had 25 minutes left and the sections had been pulled and i still don't know what they've done to solve that.
  4. wish i had meant that now but i must of over looked his name in the final regs, i'll show myself to you there and hopefully you can have a good battle with Richardson for the win! i'm looking for a top 15-20 finsh which i will be pleased with this year and next year i can put up a bit of a better battlein B class. look forward to seeing you there! NYL. P.S not looking forward to the 6 hour drive though.

  6. why isn't ben morphett riding?
  7. LOVELY bike, whats your opinion on those renthel fatbars compared to the raga one, any better?
  8. Sorry but you've got that the wrong way around, a high compression head will limit the revs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> soz mate but 'Factory Kev' told us and a mate of mine has one on his and he reckons so.
  9. put both on. were going to. have a keihein on now and it runs beautifully, high compression head will be going on in the summer though. the keihein doesn't make it rev any higher it just moves the power around to the top end of the rev range. the high compression head on the other hand i think that does make it rev higher. perfect combination
  10. agree with ned1 if you whant a honest opinion don't put the subject in a Beta forum, i have a gasgas 125 and love it easy to flick etc. betas are just as easy to flick about as they've got great suspension. try one out for yourself. Jim and Micheal Browns bikes are from the Top Trial Team so there not exactly standard. the after market parts on gassers are excellent though
  11. all i can see is a guy going up a rock and it's a pic, now i can relate to that
  12. a year older than me so he must be in his final year of B then
  13. it's got nothing to do with what other riders ride concentrate on what you like. and Dale Robson on the Scorpa is a good rider.
  14. B class- 1. Jonathan Richardson 2. Ben morphett (1 mark behind ) 3. Dale Robson ( i think, i was ridding with him and he looked like he was ridding quite well)
  15. i have a gasser 125 and mine never has this problem, you need to ride either faster or slower. do you have standard gearing? change it to either 9-46 or 9-48 if you do.
  16. it's spelt Keihein dad, how old are you and why does it matter what its like in between sections? it's not going to improve your marks is it.
  17. Colly has done this as well and it happens because they're inteviewed by a spaniard
  18. just woundering what difference the reeds make to the proformance of the bike, i think that we have a non standard one on at the moment that came with the Keihein carb. all advice is appreciated (needed ) Ihave a gasgas 125 if that helps
  19. you yanks obviously haven't seen any of are national championships have you? yeadon & guiseley's national had a 9 foot long rock a few degrees from vertical that most people wouldn't dream of atempting and that was only the ramp for a 8 foot gap up a 10 foot overhang! another piont to make is that it's all well and good having 'big' rocks but whats there use when know one there can get up them hope no one takes this to seriously
  20. best bike ive ever ridden picked mine up about 4 weeks ago with a keihien fitted and it really improve the ridding of it, in my opinion it grips better than the beta and is miles better on the rocks. AMAZING!
  21. spend 2-3 hours just on 1/4 throttle and then gradually build up to when you can attempt large revs etc. we were told that it's a better idea to keep the engine reving rarther leaving it on't tick over
