  2. Haven are advertising the 2016 Jotagas and the way the ad read they have it in stock .
  3. There's no easy answer. The Spanish dominate and have mainly over the years. They need to listen to ALL riders who do the world championship and ask them what they want. Doesn't matter what we think. If the organisers make it easy then that is one way of shaking up the championship. Bou and Raga are beatable if the trial is well below their standard. But would it be poorer for spectators? Perhaps not as it could really mean a chance of other winners.
  4. I doubt that the majority really bother what happens in the world championship. I doubt it sells any bikes really.
  5. Speak to splatshop. They do skf

If it isn't broke don't fix it!
  7. Seems odd to go back to Jotagas name.

So that narrows it down to adjusting the needle, adjusting the mixture screw, putting a bigger pilot jet in or putting a bigger main jet in!
  9. Trouble is you have some who want big steps and hopping and stopping.eg British champs and Seymours arena stuff. Some want traditional sections without the big, dangerous stuff because they have families and jobs to go to on Monday.eg Jack wood and s3 There are just too many trials championships and trials in general nowadays. Too many clashes. Eg Manx 2 day and British champs on one weekend. Cost and hassle of travelling the country every weekend is just out of reach of most. Then a £25 entry fee. Easily £100 a rider a week for nationals.

It's running nicely at the moment so I am a bit unsure if I will gain one and lose another!

Mine backfires a lot when throttle is shut on the road or going down hills. Do you have that as well?
  12. I don't think the dealers know much about any of the 2016 bikes of any make this year. The gas gas issue has upset all the manufacturers plans. The factories in Spain will be back at work soon so perhaps news will start coming through.
  13. Drill and fit a grease nipple.
  14. If you don't know don't fiddle. You will end up doing three jobs that don't need doing when an experienced mechanic will just do what's needed.
  15. I had an Ossa and a lot of the bike was good. However the gearbox was too delicate. It put me off fuel injection as well. It's ok having different maps but if you have to go back to the dealer to get something altered then it's a no go for me. I havn't the time or inclination to do that.It should come with leads to connect to a computer so you can sort it at home. I can fiddle with a carb myself.
  16. Ride round till the brakes are really hot then cool the disc with cold water. It can take quite a few heating and coolings to work. It's always best to put new pads in. Only takes a bit of wear to make it difficult to get a good brake.
  17. How things are progressing or not is only going to be known when we actually get official press releases. If you believe what is written on a forum you will no doubt be getting mainly guesswork!

This is the first bike. Looks very good really. I'm sure a factory version will be along at some point for the ones wanting more. I think there's probably more people happy to see a carb than fuel injection. I am not sure what everyone was expecting but there's only so much that you can do differently with trials bike design. There are rules that you have to stick to or the bike won't be eligible to use in observed trials.
  19. If only it was so simple! Won't the criminals then bring guns with them?
  20. It's coming up to holiday shutdown as well. Going to be an interesting autumn when there won't be enough bikes to go around the customers.
  21. Seems a bit odd to me. Sherco have made a good bike with its distinct identity. The same owner then makes Scorpa with its own identity but it uses a lot of the same parts but is different enough to attract a different buyer. Seems a good idea. But now they are going to be the same but different graphics being the main difference. I will believe it when I see it.
  22. I guess he is skint and living hand to mouth and isn't in a position to borrow more to get things moving.
  23. One announcement that might of happened won't be happening cause what they were announcing isn't happening! However there may be other announcements I don't know about! Hope that helps.
  24. I think it's the poorly made rims at fault. They vary in the measurement round the circumference. IRC on DID rim isn't usually a problem but IRC on Morad and it's very variable. Some good. Some bad

Has the internet been out of reach for most of this year for you? There isn't a Gas Gas as they are in liquidation. There isn't a Jotagas as they don't seem able to produce bikes. There isn't an Ossa as there manufacturing facility is tied up with Gas Gas Vertigo are not yet available. Trs are not yet available Nothing yet from Sherco, Scorpa, Beta. Only Montesa have released details of their new bike.
