  2. Any one know who won or has individual results from last sunday?
  3. I was in Barcelona last december and took this- It is not a std bike with the unusual chain drive sytem crossing from one side of the bike to the other it also had monoshock rear suspension and unusual disc brakes wich most bikes did not have any of at the time so it is not 'a normal bike'!!!!
  4. Does anybody know of a reliable manufacturer of fibreglass that can make motorcycle trials parts ?
  5. Are you in the uk? if so best place to try- http://www.dellorto.co.uk/default.asp you can buy online Original STD jetting for the 320- 90 main , 60 pilot , 70 slide , X2 needle , AV266 atomiser , 65 choke jet But most people now run 95 main and 65 pilot. See how you go!
  6. So you think you can ride a Bultaco! ..... Found these on the net of a young man at play..
  7. Sorry i am not a wiz with electrics that much , i just did the simple job of doing away with the wires i did not need. You would probably be better speaking to 'The Rotax man' - Peter Knight- very helpful man- www.rotax.co.uk 01761 414106 If it helps the L/T coil and H/T coil and all Bosch ignition parts are still available new -from Rotax. Hope this helps.
  8. On my TL 320 i run the black wire from the ignition coil only up under the tank where i have mounted the condensor. The larger L/H lighting coil has the wire cut completely off and the same on the front R/H coil also- so these are redundant , but you must leve these coils bolted on for the flywheel to work fully hope this helps
  9. Hi , anyone ever put a Mikuni vm 26 on a SWM TL 320? Was it better ? jetting ok? Thanks
  10. I have used a Renault Kangoo 1.5D for the last 4 years bike fits in diagonally - just perfect even with a bulkhead fitted.
  11. is this ok http://www.ataq.qc.ca/galerie/showimg.php?...ia1987tx311.jpg
  12. You can certainly put vinyl decals on a poly plastic tank BUT they will NOT stay on with any decal applied to any plastic tank , the petrol vapour breathes through the decal and melts the glue and bubbles up the decal The only way the decal will stay on is if you never put petrol in the tank! WHY do you think the original tanks are screen printed!! Fine if you are just lookung at it , but trying to succsessfully put on decals.........forget it. The ony people who do this on their bikes succsessfully - is the japs- but they are better at making things than anybody.
  13. Are you nuts? at the current crap GBP/EURO exchange rate
  14. put a small amount of copper grease on the back of the pads and make sure the pads are NOT the SINTERED type- if they are they are too hard a compound and will sqeal the best and only pads to use are GALFER (red ones) if you can't get these then use APICO/GOLDFREN everything else on the market is S***
  15. JCM EUROPA Fuel tank ...............remember......!
  16. I saw it in the flesh also yesterday- nothing special at all some parts are nicely machined BUT other parts are awfull the cut out in the swing arm for the bottom shock mount looks like its been cut out and shaped with a haclksaw and this is done to a solid billett alloy swingarm! (copy of a sherco by the way) also the alloy sump plate looks about 3 mm thick! it has a sherco clutch slave cylinder and waterpump slapped on and looks like a scorpa front end also YES i know some pople will moan about the comments but you would think that it would have been finished properly and not rushed out for the show- even if it is a "prototype" or whatever they want to call it! bring on the greeves fan club for reply's....................... I would not comment unless YOU yourself ACTUALLY do see it in the flesh and have a VERY GOOD look !!!!!!
  17. if it helps i run the sondensor on my SWM under the tank i use a Bultaco condensor as it is easier to bolt on thanks to the mounting tab- works a treat
  18. i think you guys are wasting your money just looked at the elf website and it gives the details for HTX 740- "ELF HTX 740 is a monograde ultra fluid lubricant specially developed for dry clutch gearboxes coupled to 2-stroke engines." 22. I had similar problems with my TL 320 , after eating many , many plugs i changed the condensor and points. This did not solve the problem as kept on fouling plugs and misfiring every trial. Then altered the timing which helped a bit , but it did not 'feel' right when riding. I played around with carb setiings as well but eventually changed everything- new HT coil , L/T coil , wiring , plug lead , cap , plug, stator backplate , engine case stator/backplate now it has been ok but all the time i have ridden it before i think the timing was out . Have since fitted a new dellorto carb also. Now i have got it running spot on as i have played with the jetting extensively and it now runs a milliion times better than ever before. Your problem could be that after changing the points and condensor the timing could be out also as this is critical on these engines- i would try this first Wiring diagram attatched. timing is between 2.6 - 2.8 (Before top dead centre) for the 320
