  1. Note Orange Ossa gripper with Acerbis plastic fuel tank- very rare!
  2. All these bikes were in a display at a classic car and bike show that is held every year in Barcelona in December. The show is named AUTO RETRO. I think this was a one off display of bikes to show all types of bikes through the years and was not a collection. It was in a seperate hall with old cars and was easily missed I will try and post more pics later if i can find them.... i may have deleted them!
  3. Have just seen this Garelli 323 fuel tank on ebay in ITALY if anyone is interested- clicky here
  4. Hi bogwheel , the fork caps with air valve are ONLY to let air OUT NEVER pump them up- you will blow the seals!! STD fork oil for a sherpa is 15wt , but you need to try different weight to suit your liking.
  5. Hi try Joel Corroy in france , he was the manufacturer of JCM! The website is french Clicky here
  6. Hi , i have done this mod, taken a certain amount off the fly wheel but not much . Much better throttle respone and the engine picks up much better , but at the cost of losing a bit of torque = grip , but new this would happen, Just experimenting really. Generally a lot nicer to ride also , makes the overall bike feel 'lighter'
  7. As on www.todotrial.com today - Clicky click here
  8. Hi in the 199 gearbox the recommended oil is EP90 - usually available from car factors or lawnmower shops. Using 10w40 proper motorcycle gearbox oil is ok - 500ml don't use car 10w40! In the forks the std oil is 15wt fork oil , you could also try more oil in each fork , but don't go over 200ml in each leg. If they are still too soft then install new springs.
  9. Have just been looking on www.inmotiontrials.com and see they now have in stock original style white front mudguards for montesa twinshocks with the 'M' logo on. I don't own a montesa but i know these have not been available for YEARS!
  10. Officially Bultaco recomend 500cc of EP90 but if you can't get hold of any then use a good motorcycle 10W40 gearbox oil NOT car 10W40 engine oil. This will work ok as it is not in contact with the clutch. As for the clutch ONLY use 'ATF' or 'AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID' the std red stuff you can get from most motor factors/shops Use 250cc for a refil or 300cc from dry. DO NOT use any other oil in a sherpa clutch as it can cause clutch slip and other problems.
  11. Read what i quoted earlier--- I do not know who owns the bike in question!!!!
  12. ITS A 2009 300 RAGA It was at a trial my mate did recently, not sure exactly why it broke!
  13. They don't make 'em like they used to! Mind those ditch jumps!-
  14. Why don't you try the simplest answer- Ring Beta UK!!- info@beta-uk.com 01535 655970
  15. The best place to get all your engine parts from is Peter Knight- Rotax UK - www.rotax.co.uk Tel. 0176 141 4106 Fax 0176 141 4107 e-mail rotax257@aol.com I would say that probably 99% of engine parts are still available When i order parts for my SWM all engine parts (apart from cases, barrell, head and side cases) are available new from the Rotax factory even now. Not bad for a bike which is 30 years old! Always first class top notch service everytime
  16. The nearest colour you can use to original is "Ford electric blue" There was never an official colour known but this is the colour that comerfords used at the time.
  17. 199A / 198A Colour scheme as in original Bultaco sales brochure-
  18. The easiest way is to always leave the air to carb rubber attached to the carb, then when fitting the airbox spray some WD40 etc onto the front of the air box its should then go on easily.
  19. Just incase you don't remember- Gilles Burgat won a world title on SWM and then didn't after signing/riding for fantic So i don't think 'the SWM' is the worst bike ever! I thoroughly enjoy riding my 320 SWM , and in 25 years of riding trials , enduro and mx its the bike i have had most fun and enjoyment out of . Remember that word- 'FUN'- isnt that what is all about?
  20. My totally biased opinion obviously - SWM 320 PROS- grips better than anything i have ridden (i have ridden many bikes) very well built, very reliable , tons of torquey usable power -but not too powerful parts still readily available CONS- a bit heavy than some , but this helps with the grip this is obviously going to get some replies!! but its my opinion! everybody has their favorite/opinion.
  21. Try here- http://www.rotax.co.uk/ and here- http://www.rotaxsales.be/ (click on parts list on top of page to find the aprilia one -this can be downloaded)
