  1. The photos are uploaded. It'll go front page as soon as I've finished writing the story. Oh, and Kinky Boots isn't joking about his bike.
  2. I don't know about those taking part, but I had a blast! Great day out and something a bit different. Photos are all ready for uploading and as soon as my mate buggers off to his bed, I'll nick his broadband and upload them!
  3. Kinell has been told that after three days with Saunders and a day with Dougie we will expect nothing less than a Special First Class Award at next year's Scottish
  4. Daft buggers or just someone with a bit of foresight to try and bring Trials into the 21st century and add appeal to the casual spectator? I've not seen it done before and from what I heard over the phone it was WAY too loud, but it's a nice concept. If you don't try new ideas then how can the sport ever evolve? If the sport is ever going to evolve and grow then we MUST move away from the concept of "Yorkshire lads in flat caps criticising t'layout of t'sections". It's strange for the riders because it's new and I say good on Y&G for trying something new. I've been in the heart of Sheffield Arena taking photos during a World Indoor Round and the noise is deafening. You literally cannot hear yourself think. It's one of the most awesome things I've ever experienced. Does it bother them? Does it affect their focus? No. Not one iota. I can see where folk are coming from, but personally I think it's time to move with the times and do whatever we can to make the sport more attractive to the masses. If that means creating a party atmopsphere that people want to be part of then so be it.
  5. Kinell tried to phone me through results. I couldn't hear a word he was saying, but heard the Slade song perfectly!
  6. There is a learning curve with digital cameras. The shutter lag is notorius! The trick is to push the shutter half way. You should be able to do that and then feel slight resistance before it goes all the way. The half way push locks the focus. It may also beep or show a light at this point to say the focus is locked. As I say, there is a learning curve and it does take a while to get used to them, but the good thing is it isn't costing you money to take these wasted pics!
  7. Just go to www.jessops.co.uk and type "card reader" into the search box. There are different readers for different types of card/PCs/interfaces.
  8. Can't offer any advice on the data recovery. There are specialist companies that will recover data in situations like this, but they charge a fortune. However, I'd recommend anyone gets a card reader anyway. It's sooooo much faster than downloading from a camera. I've got a

Guys, please bear in mind photos you find on the web are someone else's copyright.
  10. We all laugh at Kinell because we know he can take it in the way it's intended. It's a laugh. If it wasn't him, we'd pick another Clubman to poke our jokes at. He's just done 3 days with Steve Saunders and has a day's drilling under Dougie next week (which will be fully covered on Trials Central - good or bad!). Good on him I say for a) not taking the whole thing too seriously and B ) for sticking at it.

New house, new car. Going to the last round of the year. God Andy you make me sick . The new house and new car at the same time was pure coincidence (lease ran out on old car day before moving house) and, believe me, have crippled me financially! I won't be at the final round, but there will be people there who will help me out.

If there are then you'll see it here. No question about that!

I can't say too much as I don't know that much, but I have been told they won't be as expensive as some people are thinking. I also know there is massive demand.
  14. Well I'd imagine Perce will take his 4x4 and Kinell will turn up in his "drug dealer" machine

I got a personal invite from Mr. Codina himself. Wasn't prepared to pay for the flights, but invited me anyway

Bzzzzt. REV'er. Your reply was deleted because it contained lots of horrible "text talk". English only please!
  17. Sorry. No girls allowed
  18. Yaham dude. Since Perce is in the know, I've deleted your post with the phone number. I don't want complaints about the wrong person getting calls! Best advice is to stay tuned. Reg details will appear as soon as they're available.

    Oooh - Nice comeback!
  20. The Scott is Saturday 23rd October this year. Richmond are good at getting news onto Trials Central quickly so keep an eye on the front page for announcements regarding Regs etc. I'll be back covering it for my third year. It's now a "not to be missed" in my calendar.

I spoke to Caroline at Sandifords hmmmm 6-8 weeks ago. She's unwilling to put anything out in terms of press releases etc until the factory do, which is understandable. She did say there is massive demand and promised to get me news as and when she was in a position to do so.
  22. Final Scores Lampkin - 11 Fuji - 12 Raga - 25. Front page for more.
  23. Absolutely.
  24. Ask and ye shall receive Clickety Click
  25. I can confirm this weekend will be a one-day event on Sunday, as will the Spanish Round in Puerto Pajares on the 25th of July.
