  1. Just make sure you have your username and password written down somewhere, for when you choose to sign back in ?
  2. Were you one of the buyers @the dabster ?? ?
  3. Its not, its £5000, difference £1250
  4. It definitely hasn't! Bikes never depreciated over 20% by just sitting in the showroom for a year!
  5. Selling them to Joe public, 5k, including VAT
  6. I was a bit wary when they did away with the std a couple of years back. Now the racing is the std model and the gp the new racing, except the racing is still the racing price and the gp is even more. Next they will to do away with the racing and bring out a busto rep at 8k
  7. Thats JS for you. Maybe we need to start going back to the old days of grey imports.
  8. I really don't think manufacturers would allow their works riders ride a different brand of bike. Especially Honda letting their rider ride a Yamaha! And is there any point doing it if the best in the world aren't riding in it?
  9. I don't know what annoys me more, him or the guy who calls fives, fiascos If it does get selected... do you think we would see a big migration from the current series, including Bou, Raga etc? Who wouldn't want to win an olympic gold?
  10. If it means Rob Warner will be commenting on it, i would nearly vote against it
  11. I think you're saying this tongue in cheek, but in all seriousness, id vote for that as an "alternative arrangement". As was said above the british invented the sport, why not reinvent it and bring those jumping jorges back to earth ? The same old stuff does get a tad boring after a while.
  12. Theres 3 pipes in the picture, main fuel pipe, float bowl overflow, then theres one cable tied to the main fuel feed inlet that exits just at the top of the pic
  13. On one of the overflows i imagine, bottom of float bowl, or side of the carb body Got this pic from another thread
  14. Undercard events nonetheless. It was hard enough selling the world championship to councils/sponsors/media when the UK had an outright work champion. The crowds we got at hawkstone around 2000 aren't coming back until another Doug comes along. Or sheffield with colley and jarvis. Proper contenders. No offence to the others listed above
  15. We have to remember and accept, that Britain doesn't have any contenders to the world championship. Dougie attracted a lot of attention with media, sponsors and spectators to the British GP because he was winning and he was local. Local or even national media or sponsors just aren't interested the same if the top 6 are from spain. When a country has someone who's really on form, at the top and an odds on winner, the home round is always more of a success, whether its silverstone, wimbledon or the open.
  16. I can't say I'm disappointed. Didnt look a great spot, but i suppose anywhere is better than nowhere. Dare i say "the uncertainty" could have played a role??

    Premix Oil

After seeing the betas in sheffield they sure aren't on 80 or 100:1 ?

    Premix Oil

Did they give you legitimate reasons for runner those ratios? Most don't!

Can you please explain your rationale for going against the manufacturers recommendations and going leaner? I hope you aren't another sheep
  20. Agreed, and great for the expert rider, but personally i feel they have too aggressive of an angle for the average clubman. Not saying the OP isn't handy enough himself though
  21. Because todays riders are a bunch of pot hunters. If they drop more than 10 marks they complain the trial was too difficult. They want to ride clean, keep their gear clean and take a 50p trophy back home to their wife. Theres a reason the bottom grades have the most entries. They don't make them the way they used to ???
  22. You're the one who doubted a guys legitimacy in riding trials just because you didn't know 6 litre petrol cans existed! If that already went over your head, I have a feeling adding more would also
