  1. Agreed, we do have some good trials but most are far to easy. Its the same with kend but if you know the good places then its well worth the short trip.
  2. Kent has plenty of hard trials and its well worth the short journey to do them, from where i live it takes less time to get there than some of the trials in the "north" of our centre. Anything else you would like to know?
  3. I do just not in the same area as you.
  4. Agreed, make the trials a lot harder. Around 10 points a lap would be fine.
  5. More info - A little bit of good news. We have recovered 3 bikes, unfortunately not any of the newer bikes. We have back 2 Yamaha WR250s and 1 Honda CRF230. One of the Yams seems to have been ridden to destruction as when we started it, it sounded like a bag of nails and upon closer inspection there is metal in the oil - a lot! *******s. The second Yam does not sound much better but we have not investigated that one or the Honda yet, but will keep you all informed. They were found in a copse near Park Street, Herts so keep an eye out in that area - there is a gypsy site nearby, but I still don't think it was them. If you search Park Street in Google Maps you will see the big Park Street Roundabout - follow the A414 back a bit and the second field from the roundabout is where they were found - close to that little gasworks you can see on the bottom right of the field. The bikes were covered up with branches and bracken etc to try and conceal them, but a dog walker spotted two of them and the Feds found the third. We had the insurance assessor in yesterday and he seems happy that everything is OK and the insurance claim will go through - but we have a maximum single claim of 25K which is not going to cover everything that got stolen. Ho hum! Again, thanks to everyone out there who has sent good wishes etc, but I would like to give a special thanks to my mum, who has gathered up pretty much every penny she has in the world to help get us through the next month or two until we get the insurance money! On an even more positive note - there will be an announcement from TrailWorld soon about a new exciting project which is just about signed and sealed - a few already have a good idea but I will put a posting up in the next few days about it all, let's just say that if you like dirt and speed you will love this!

    Stolen Drz

This bike has been found, it was dumped in a field with no apprent major damage.
  7. After hearing about my friend who had his bike stolen I have also found out another one of my friends who runs a off orad tour company has been broken into over the weekend. They were stolen from st albans, hertfordshire. Hello everyone - we have had a big setback at TrailWorld, over the weekend we were broken in to an 10 bikes have been stolen. I don't know all the details at them moment but wanted to get something up here to get you all on the lookout. The 4 Yamaha WR250's, 1 Beta 400, 2 x brand new Sherco 450's, 1 x brand new Sherco 510. My Sherco 510 with all the bling has also been stolen. If you get offered anything or suspect someone is dealing dodgy bikes then call me on 07595 180010 or 01727 858269 Cheers guys More info Hello all, just had the Police around etc and here is the list of bikes that have been stolen with all the Reg's and Chassis numbers. Obviously we are all completely gutted here and would love to catch the little *******s. Looks like kids - we have CCTV but they look like they knew what they were doing (Hoodies, Gloves etc) Also stolen were a lot of the clothing including Klim helmets as shown below, which are also quite unique so keep your eyes peeled. They came in 3 times in the night (Sun) and looks like they wheeled the bikes around the corner and loaded them in a van. Stolen Drz

My mate crashed, broke both his wrists the other day, the bike was left parked up while he walked about a mile to the nearest house to get help and by the time someone returned to collect his bike it had been stolen. The bike was left at grid reference 164209 on Ordnance Survey Landranger Map (Pink cover) No. 166 Luton & Herford. This lane runs from the top of the Water tower at Whitwell and goes towards Whiteway bottom, it was left at the junction where the lane splits and joins the fast blast across the field down to the lane that leads to Whiteway Bottom itself. Bike details: DR400 Mainly Yellow plastics with blue Werx Suzuki sticker kit and white side panels. REG: Y716 KRX Chassis: JS1BF111100101845 Engine: K417107474 Distinguishing marks: Has Grey Renthal grips, small tear in seat and 2 D-rings for tie downs under the side panels at the rear. 9. 100% agreed, the trials in this centre should be a lot harder!!! The middle route in most other centres is harder than our expert route. Dont listen to "Nigel Dabster"

    Beta Fat Bars!

How will the new handlebars make your riding any better? Spend the time and money on riding more.

    Reikon V. Renthal

Because the originals bent the first time I crashed. Doesnt feel any different to me. I wouldnt bother changing uless they bend, its probably a waste of money.
  12. Stop rules are ****, If i wanted to hop my bike all over the section i would be riding cycle trials. Just ride the bike, dont bounce all over the palce.
  13. Gaerne - mine are nearly 6 years old and still work well, they do look **** though.
  14. Brown wheel look is easiest, just ride in some mud.
  15. Its not a legal practice venue as far as i am aware, just go through a gap in the fence and ride. I have seen it but have never ridden there so dont know if the plod come down and ram a trunchen where the sun doesnt shine if you get caught riding it. Anyway its just on the edge of the A40 where the B4027 joins it near forest hill.
  16. Get a road legal enduro bike then you can ride byways and enduro's.
  17. The AA towed my CBR600 home on one of those when it broke a few years ago, it looked dodgey too small and unstable even for a trials bike.
  18. 270's are great, nothing wrong with having one of those if your used to the power of an enduro bike.

    08 Beta Handlebars

Its the first time the bikes ever hit the deck and there bent, there not very strong.
  20. I just use a cheap football type one from a sports shop, they only cost about

    08 Beta Handlebars

I bent my handlebars on my 08 270 beta, what else fits apart from another set of standard bars? Do renthal or anybody else make some in this fitment and does anybody know a place that sells them for a good price? Cheers Lennie.
  22. If you havent ridden ot for ages the clutch could just be stuck together, take the cover off and check it.
  23. Beta probelms - you cant buy one.
