  1. Bike breaks, phone for recovery, go to shop, buy beer, get hammered, recovery arrives, lift home, get more hammered. Sounds like a great tool to me.
  2. That sucks balls. Check out all the usual places people ride. I will keep a eye out when im on my WR for any scanks riding little bike and mow them down if i see them.

    08 Beta Stator

Every Rev3 beta i have owned has had stator and / or CDI problems and my 06 just had to have the stator and CDI replaced. Thats not really the point is it, if you buy a new bike it should work properly.

    Tyres

The only reason I used a IRC was i have a few "part worn" ones off my beta laying around which were no good for trials but still about 90% of the tread left so i tested one out. I wont be paying

    Tyres

I put a IRC trials ytyre on my WR450 and it was rubbish, I rode about 20 miles and the tread blocks started to tear off and the bike was so unstable at speed on hard ground it felt like I was about to crash constantly. I wouldnt fit another even if it was free.
  7. Hello, Does anybody know where i can buy a brake and a clutch lever for my 205 Fantic please? Cheers Lennie.
  8. Does anybody know nay good shops that might have a 2004 WR450 voltage regulator / rectifier IN STOCK, I would like to get my hands on one before christmas. Any ideas, in in hertfordshire but if you know a shop who is reliable with postage then feel free to post the details. Cheers Lennie.
  9. I rode a 08 270 yesterday and it was the nuts, I want one.
  10. I guess your a bit young for this but you could have a few beers first then you will be feeling a lot braver and wheelies are easy.
  11. Personally i just ride my bike, its gets a nice brown coationg and looks pretty good to me.
  12. Ive done it in the past, its not easy but can be done. Use a strap around the outside of the tyre to hold it tight to the rim and it might pop on. Also a bit of washing up liquid around the bead helps it pop on too. Being 100% honest though it really is just easier to just pop the tyre on with the tyre levers and go and blow it up at the petrol station using their machine. MX tyres are much more fun to fit at home, there proper hard compound compared to trials tyres but tubed so easier to pump up. EDIT - Thinking about it ive not got a tyre to pop onto a beta rim using a footpump but i have got them onto my talon wheel using foot pump only before.
  13. All you need is tyres levers and a foot pump to swap the tyres. Its good exersize.
  14. Loads of trials on but not that many are particurly hard if you ride expert.

    Boots?

Ive got some of these, oiled brown ones and 6 years of use nearly every weekend and there just about dead. Quality boots.
  16. Bad news, i hope he gets it back soon. Lennie.
  17. It doesnt matter what colour the markers are, it matters how good the section is.
  18. Im sure you will get it one day.
  19. Sounds like a great mod to the bike nick, I recomend using one of these on the bike -
  20. I dont really see what the big deal is, if your on a trials bike actually practicing trials then the coppers wont be able to get to you without walking over to you. My beta is a lot faster than any copper can run. Problem solved.
  21. How much do they cost and where from? Cheers.
  22. They all look the same after one section, brown.
