  1. Durty Dabbers Trials Club is a couple hours away from you, so maybe they have some members closer to you? http://www.durtydabbers.com/ Good luck!
  2. I've been riding my '17 GG in the mud all fall and only have some small spatters of mud in my airbox.
  3. The Durty Dabbers Trials Club is only a little over 2 hours from you. A lot more D6 trials action north and east of you. Miller Ranch Trials Series in Corning, is 3.5 hours away and a lot of D4 Trials, Niagara Trials Riders, Empire Trials Club events not much further.

    Which 125?

I have a '17 Gas Gas 125 and it's been a great bike for me as an older novice. Good power, especially the low end, suspension works very nicely, stable at speed and turns well.... Very confidence inspiring! Great package!
  5. Mine is on both boots, but only on the white upper, not the foot portion. I haven't ridden in real wet, but they have gotten damp in wet grass and mud.
  6. I have the same colorway and my white on the side of the boots is similar looking. I've ridden at least 20 hours in them and they seem to be holding up fine. I figured the side was cut from a less than perfect hide and it's more cosmetic than anything. I love these boots compared to my Gaerne boots, I'm just going to keep wearing them until they fall to bits and I think that may be longer than you think. I got such a good deal from Freestyle Extreme, I'm happy. With that said, I hope you get the resolution you want on your boots. Good luck!
  7. 16.3 CUT OUT DEVICE: From 1st January 2015 all competitors riding combustion engine machines at a SACU Championship Trial must have cut out devices rigidly connected to the rider by lanyard (maximum 1 metre) so as to stop the engine should the rider and machine be parted. Where possible Pre 65 Machines must have a device fitted that will stop the motorcycle engine. ACU hasn't adopted this rule as of yet.
  8. I took a look at the entry and ACU trials regs.... not mentioned for adult bikes.
  9. Forma Boulder was going to be my next choice to try, if I couldn't get the A-Stars.
  10. They came late today and I rode in them for about 45 minutes, in the 2 small sections I have off my driveway. The boots feel awesome to me. I can feel the pegs, but don't feel barefoot like the Gaerne Balance Oil boots. I can shift and it doesn't hurt!
  11. No I haven't.... I figure if they are too stiff for trials, they'll be my new trail work/dual sport boots!
  12. They'll get broken in quickly, as I have a lot of trail work to do for an AHRMA XC/MX race in October and with my last enduro of the season this weekend.... I'm going to spend a lot of time on the Fantic and Gas Gas after that!
  13. I ordered a pair of Tech T boots last night from the UK, after talking to Lewisport about my pre-order status. They said my size was not available and didn't know when, so they suggested I cancel it. I searched and found them in stock. With GB Pound down, price was so good, I blew the $19.95 to upgrade the shipping and DHL texted me today, that they will be here Friday. I can't wait to try them, as my Gaerne's are like Birkenstocks!
  14. Friend just ordered a '17 200. ETA is late September or Early October.
  15. Gomez's Trials career.... 2011 World trial junior champion! 2011 European vice-champion 2011 Top Ten SSDT 2010 Fourth position Enduro Indoor World Championship 2010 World trial junior vice-champion 2009 World trial junior vice-champion 2007 World trial youth champion 2007 TR2 Spanish Champion 2006 Junior Spanish Champion 2005 Junior 125 Spanish Champion 2004 Cadete Spanish Champion
  16. ARC doesn't seem list any trials applications, only Brembo and Magura clutches.
  17. My '17 has a pinch bolt. I didn't think much about it, as this is my first modern trials bike and my '16 KTM and '15 Husky use a similar pinch bolt. I think it will work well.
