  1. Best reply I have seen in a long time, no bull just an honest answer why a three is worthwhile, if I was going to change a system so a honest three was given three and a paddling ride should be given more I would think twice about changeing it given BB's answer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seconded. I'd never looked at things from that angle.
  2. Didn't come up too well in the preview but heck that's a great looking motorcycle (IMO).
  3. Charles, the model 159 ('76) was followed by the model 199 ('78) which was in turn followed by the 199 A and B models. Nope sorry can't attach a thing..Andy?
  4. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/340-Bultaco-Sherpa-t...1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. I wonder if Kenneth doesn't qualify for a new category of obsession? The duck-wizard home for hopelessly unrestorable trials bikes.
  6. Seems to me that Big John is as big a fan as I am..'ere we go... Seems them pics have gone awol. Will try again tomorrow. TFT
  7. I used to have a copy of "Motorcycle" with a pic of Micks (then) newly unveiled mono-shock Yammie. Nice big colour photo too. That's the sort of thing I was thinking of. Mind you I've a good colour pic of the 360 twinshock (laid down shocks, blue & white tank) in a copy of 'sport I could scan & post. TFT
  8. Thanks for all the replies chaps. Now does anyone know if there's a site in cyberspace dedicated to prototypes that Magical Mick produced during his term with Yamaha? The man is a craftsman/engineer of note. It'll be lovely to drool over his creations.
  9. Mark 15 Bultaco Pursang. Never went into production. I'd love to see some pics of those Cappras.
  10. It's good to have you back where you belong Lane.
  11. Years ago when Mick Andrews was riding for Yamaha he developed a fuel injected bike. Can anyone remember whether he rode it in the Scottish?
  12. Andy already does that every Scottish. It's called team Trials Central. The riding ain't bad it's just that they get lost.
  13. TFT: "Ooy Bigfoot was that deer you whacked wild?" Bigfoot: "It wasn't until I hit it then it was f&^king furious.".
  14. Dunno mate all I can say is the 242 bottom end is completely different to the 330 (right side chain on the 330, left side on the 242).
  15. Are you Aussies angling for W/C round?
  16. This type of obsession is tolerated if not welcomed here. We've been tolerating Big John for years
  17. Hell, Ken (Duckwizard) must be really miffed to see so many Cagivas/Merlins coming out of the woodwork after the fact.
  18. I'm saying what I said. Some time ago I mentioned that spurious rumours can do a great deal of damage to our wonderful but ecomomically very delicate sport (I was proven wrong on that account but have been proven right on other occasions). Please bear this in mind.
  19. Dave Clinckard, 2nd from left, leaning against van?
  20. New CRF has one header pipe and two silencers. The split is under the airbox. Beta also have a left hand exhaust pipe. But this is all boll**, pure conjecture.
  21. After Melandri's won the Turkish GP on it.
