Google video? Where's that?

I knew that Andy works for Veritas and both are owned by Symantec. Bit like having a deliquant brother I would think.
Hey John, drop us a line. Things are good here.
-
Thanks for the heads up Rabie. Norton is now bounced. I await refund from Symantec.
-
Norton starts to give dire warnings it's about to explode because my subscribtion is about to expire so, whith some reluctance and against my better judgement, I update Norton via the web. On completion I reboot as per instructions. Outlook goes south and I can't fire activate Norton. So I phone the helpdesk, some pratt in India asks for my NAME and he can barely speak english. To add salt to the wound he's useless.
This isn't my first run in with Norton. I should have learned the first time.
The whole things leagalised extortion!

Rumour has it that Adam Raga, in anticipation of a determined challange from newly Montesa mounted Toni Bou, has contracted a new team of minders for next years outdoor championship.

Your lady is muslim and celebrates by drinking?
-
Oh for gawds sakes:
"An HSE spokesperson said on Friday its officers were focusing on the events that led-up to the incident - the planning for the dragster dash, the risk assessment undertaken and whether Hammond received any special training with jet-powered cars. "
Yeah right, theres a place at the bottom of Hammonds road that offers training in jet powered cars. Political Correctness is getting stupid.
Nonetheless, get well soon hamster. Not many people have crashed at 300mph and lived.

Ah, but you can buy a Manx rep (made in Auckland). I wish we could buy RTL reps.
-
It was designed specifically for trials. Sammy said they needed a shorter motor and a few months later the short stroke appeared.
-
The Ohlins is available as an option. So's the Kokusan ignition.
-
BTW who can remember that French site for the guy with all the Honda works bikes?
-
It's EXPIRY date!! You are not obligated to thank me or correcting your woeful english (too much time in the states Ish?) you are OBLIGED.
Glad I got that off my chest.
-
Yeah, when googling for a pic of what I remembered the RS200 to be I was reminded of HRCs predecessor. Couldn't find the pic though.
Big John, I'd settle for a real Rothmans RTL!
-
Don't understand - where does it say it is a genuine ex-works bike? Looks like any other RS200 with the 250 conversion to me. What has it got to do with a Mont with a HRC engine too?
I'm confused
In the early '80's HRC (not Honda) made a limited run of RS200's. They were for selected riders around the globe. Eddie Lejeune ended up with one as did Kevin Rogers in South Africa. Very few were made. They were as ugly as sin. It doesn't mention that it's an ex-works bike but the price is appropriate.
In the case of Monts, HRC manufactures the motor (because the volumes don't justify Honda proper doing it) but a Mont ain't (neccesarily) a works bike.
I'm open to correction here but it does look like an ex-works 200 and the exhaust bears me out on it.
-
That RS is a genuine ex-works bike. Not Mont with an HRC motor but a real works bike. Rare as hen's teeth.
-
Oooh! One went recently on e-bay for, brace yourself, GBP5,000.
-
-
Very sorry to hear that Austini but I'm afraid I can't help you.
-
Just enter as John Moffat
-
There was something about Irwin, perhaps he had the common touch. Something some Aussies hated him for. He showed the Aussies as they are. Rough diamonds.
IMO Irwin popularised conservation. He made it entertainment.
I hate to think how much outpouring of grief there wuld be if Attenborough shrugged off his mortal coil.
Oh, when any public figure dies they'll be jokes flying around. It's human nature. I'm sure Irwin would have enjoyed them.
-
Silly me for it posting again. I didn't even listen to the soundtrack.
-
-
Senor Greeves, have you got any photographs of the bike during restoration. It would be nice to be able to follow the restoration.
And congratulations. Excellent job.
-
Yeah, that 'umph was a 3TA motor shoehorned into Cotton frame. Did sound nice.
-
I'm waiting for my new Raga replica so I drove down to Mercer this morning to watch a classic and twinshock trial. Mercer's about 60km south of Auckland.
Some of the tackle that was there was very rare indeed, for example this 500T Norton ('bout a 1949 vintage):
There were also 4 198/199 Bultacos there. This was possibly the cleanest example:
Also there was a lovely Greeves. The Greeves was ridden by NZ reigning enduro champ Chris Birch whose father is pictured on the 198A Bulto
Peter Birch on the 198A Sherpa
Also pictured, the great view from the venue.
As well as a few local enthusiasts.
