"B******s been sat in the shed all weekend" and its still there now
Any psychiatric advice would be helpful, will it still start after a week of non use? well worried
-
The worry is if this sort of thing migrates into our world, luckily for our sport serious injury is rare and I cant remember a rider being killed whilst competing, although I do think the indoor will have its day soon.
I'm pretty sure Phil won the case for Tracktime as his pre track talks to riders and indemnity paperwork would make it a no hoper in court but the guy had enough of the being sued thing and what goes with it. His opening line at some of the talks was "if there's any Lawyers here **** off now"
-
Bet you were followed home Greg, I had the same sort of thing last year only explination in my case. Dont think any info would be available from entry forms to be honest unless someones been through bins etc, easier to follow vans back to their garages, our road is single track for about a mile,if theres something following up till then I dont go down my road anymore, same with my workshop.
Hope you find it mate, will keep a look out down this way

Hell GIZZA make me think abit as well that

I dont mind dropping off things or jumping off its the run up that gets me pinching if abit slippy, nothing worse than a handfull of wheel spin when you need 100% grip. Dropoffs and jumps are one of the few things in Trials that are a 100% cert, you will always do it, gravity takes care of that, staying on is the key . I watched Ross make a big jump last weekend accross two grass banks, think he was the only one to do it,one other guy had a go but ended up in a big heap (good effort though) was tempted but it was about a foot to far to be comfy with and off wet grass

Keep things as they are now, riders responsibility,we're all big enough to know what's legal and what isn't and know the risks for riding slightly legal. Pretty much most of the time Trials are held on very minor roads and not main ones so very rare to see any Police and when you do I am sure they know the score and leave alone. I am sure clubs could do without the agro of checking legality of bikes and telling some riders they have to go home due to something not correct on their bikes.
Did a trial near Birmingham a couple of years back and half the field got stopped, don't think much happened though. The extra insurance is worth it when available at the paddock but not all events offer this and I cant remember who runs it but it will as Pete says cover you for the trial as your normal insurance wont.
I knocked big Dave off his bike at a T Junction at the Wallace years back, any one else and he would have been pushed in front of the oncoming car for sure and the consequences of that doesn't bare thinking about.Luckily i hit him up the chuff at only about 30mph and he stood his ground and I came off worse,

check your reeds whilst your at the carb, Boyesens are a good choice if you renew them
-
the Monts almost fast enough to do it as well Glenn

Graham, I knew Phil, used to do alot of Tracktime days for testing, his pre track talk to the riders would have even the most experienced racers cacking their pants and debating whether to go out that day it was that bad(honest). I remember him telling me of that case, poor bloke had just about had enough of it and packed in one of the best track days companies in the country, bloody shame, give Phil my regards next time you see him mate
-
Getting beyond a joke things like this, Track days are getting hit here from people signing disclaimers and being told in no uncertain terms before going on a track what your about to do is dangerous and could kill you but still the companies get sued.
Off to buy some cotton wool!!!!!!
-
125's need a bloody good caning to burn out the oil build up, make sure when your out you give it good blasts of throttle and run it hard when your about to pack up
-
Jorge, take your handlebars off and mount them on the rear mudguard, you'll be going the right way then with the added bonus of the kickstart being the right side of the bike
Think youve got your timing way out mate, did the stator go back on in the correct position?

Did my first stop allowed Trial on Sunday went exactly as it has been in the past, non of the sections were any tighter and I didnt see anymore stopping than before. I actually rode it as stop is a one, forgot the new rules most of the time and on a couple of hop parts had to really say to myself "you can stop if you need too".
Well done to Bewdley MCC for a great trial and very well marked out sections considering the possible weather change we were having. Be nice if any of the very hardy and brave observers at the trial can post how they found the new rules.

Heres the Ebay advert
Xispa
I see they are giving a 12 month parts and labour warranty, I might be wrong but I cant think of another Trials bike with that? I quite like the look of them, colour scheme is good and from the vids on here it looks like a very capable bike.
-
Yer I'll second that, amazes me though why more companies dont advertise on here? its well cheap as it is let alone taking into account the hits and user volume
-
I like that alot, nice and mean looking, The Humungous wouldnt look out of place on it
-
Is it different to other 4rt throttles? if so you must have a problem with the spring I think, might be worth taking the cover off and see if anything has come adrift.
-
Paul you might have a slow action throttle on, if its black then its slow, white is fast. Check the spring in the throttle body, it should feel like a normal throttle to be honest as mine and all I have ridden are.
