  1. Has that guy stated the widths of the rims? I can't it anywhere! Where says sizes it says WM1- 1.60 X 21 X 36 HOLE WM2- 1.85 X 19 X 36 HOLE. The first number can't be the widths can it? surely they would be like bacon slicers? The second is obviously the diameter and the last one the number of spoke holes! ER Not sure about the polished wheels, too much work to keep nice I would imagine unless I laquer them? Proc-Are you sure about the 18 rears? It says he doesn't have any other sizes than stated and I can't find where it says that he does 18 rears? Have you used this guy? Cheers Sean
  2. Remember someone posting these on here previously! Clicky Edit:-Bugger it's a 19inch rear! I will keep searching! Cheers Sean
  3. I know I'm fussy! But I don't want the bike to look crap! lol The sherco's do come already done but then there are many others out there the same and the bike is not individual! I just want to personalise it a little to make it mine if you know what I mean! Gold may be cool! Alan Ayres used to have a sherco with gold wheels and that looked unreal! They sometimes have them on ebay so will check it out! Cheers Sean
  4. Thats a similar shape to the mazda 3!
  5. Yes I know of them thanks! I have heard a couple of bad reports from people about them keeping wheels for 5 or 6 weeks! I was going to use 1schoicewheels.co.uk but I have seen the black rims aswell and not sure if I like them either! I hate decisions!
  6. Now then! Due to putting a bloody ugly and very large dent in my fuel tank the wheels have been posponed to a later date! Essex rider has just told me about this gasser on ebay with exactly what I was going to have done and Im glad I have seen the pictures as I don't like it! lol Clicky Im stumped now! Edit:-Sorry wrong picture a minute ago thats the correct one now!
  7. I know it's bad but I always txt talk with my mates! When you have done it for a while though it becomes so easy and quick to do! But as Andy said it is very lazy! lol However if I am speaking to an adult I will always use proper English and try my best with the grammar side of things!
  8. Hi! I have just noticed on the front page a message saying "Sunday the 4th of Feb, be here!" Could anyone tell me what this is about please? Have I missed something? Cheers, Sean
  9. I see your point on the educational side of things. I read a quote from a lecturer at Oxford University I think, it said " Do spelling and grammar really matter? Yes, it says something about you "I am educated, take me seriously!" I never talk in text talk unless it is a text or if I'm using IM! It does really annoy when people write emails to me and they are not in good English or set out correctly! I am only a teenager so I will probably have it ripped out of me for saying that! Thanks for the replys just wanted to know what the crack was with everyones view on it! cheers, Sean
  10. This wasn't the moderators if I remember correctly! I seem to be remembering someone having a jab at someoone about posting in the wrong topic! However this was a long time ago now so this may have been to do with something else! For some reason though I have it in my mind that this happened! My mind may be slightly boggled! If this was not the case though then I am sorry for pointing the finger! I think the way you deal with stuff on this site is spot Andy, very proffesional indeed! When I see people use text talk I cringe and think "you did not want to do that!" I hope you don't mind me asking but Why does text talk annoy everyone so much?
  11. When I first started in trials I bought my 03 gasser 125 off there! Never went to see it didn't even give the guy a call or email! which I know was very risky! I found it with about 10 minutes to go and studied the pictures and it looked clean! Was very happy when I went to pick it up! The guy even said to drop him an email in a few months time to tell him how I was getting on! I then sold it on there on christmas eve and I was completely truthful in the description! I have bought countless trials odds and sods off there mainly from the sellers I use frequently so I know it will be a smooth transaction! There are some decent people about but they are getting less common!
  12. I am relatively new to the sport (1 year) and I have been on the forums a while aswell, from day 1 on here I was hooked and have been on virtually everyday unless I am/was on holiday! (Isn't that sad! ) I like the idea of a Wiki, think it would be great to be able to get information when it's required without the risk of asking the same question that has been asked 20 times that month also! If an extra forum for newbies to trials and/or the forums was created, What about making it banter/sarcasm free? So as not to scare people away in the first couple of days of being around! If the regulars were to post regularly in there and chat to new people about the sport and the site so there do not become two seperate groups (oldies and newbies) and to encourage them to post in other forums unless they are already doing that! I do think people need to give others a break sometimes and not be so quick to jump down there throat the first time they do something incorrectly like posting in the wrong forum as bilco said but it does make laugh when someone does get rinsed! Cheers P.S Just realised I have been on here 9 months now! Bugger me that went fast!

  14. Pair of Boots or Thongs ? I must say the lace on my pair is incredibly comfortable! They have also stood up to alot with me wearing them , lobbing them on the floor and then wearing them again! It has been a month since I washed them last and there has been no discolouring what so ever! GET SOME!
  15. I agree! A trials bike gearbox isn't designed to be clunked through with no clutch as they are very light and fairly fragile! lol

Or there is this chart! I would say about 80:1 aswell personally! Thats what I run in my gasser! Cheers two_stroke_mixtures.pdf
  17. I have a pair and I must say they are loverly! May have to start wearing them out if birds like that like them! RESULT!
  18. "Only been worn 4 times..." Ok but what application? Maybe thats why they are in the bedroom and really clean!
  19. On my Autowbars rack there are 4 fixing points! Two in the middle one on the upright behind the rear wheel and on on the otherside of the rear wheel (behind the footpeg but lower). I use ratchet straps as I don't see how it is possible to use the ones where you pull the strap through the gripper! ( the suspension on the bike would not compress!) Standing facing the bike and the back of the car I put one strap on the right middle fixing point, then go round the centre of the bike (put a towel on the bike!) and on to the one on the outside of the rack by the back wheel. I then use the other strap to go from the left hand centre fixing point round the headstock of the bike through the frame and onto the point on the upright behind the rear wheel! The bike is extremely solid like this and it the only movement I get is from the flex in the straps and rack itself! The upright that pushes on the rim of the rear wheel stops the bike hitting the car! Hope this helps! Cheers Sean PS sorry for the essay!
  20. Anyone fancy a 5 foot drop off on that bad boy? lol What a rear sprocket! Thats got to be getting on for 70 teeth!lol Cheers
