Chris and his dad was at a recent welsh championship round in merthyr, I was impressed with his riding ablity hes very talented! The thing that got me annoyed was the front forks on my gas gas breaking me having to change them for a spare set, thus causing my time limit to be tight! The next section a young lad and his dad go straight to the front of the section qeue which has 10-15 riders in! now i know if my dad saw me do that he wouldnt be impressed!

If you handled the 280 ok then you should manage the 300, The 300 is alot smoother than the 280! The raga maybe even smoother at the bottom end but will fly at the top end due to the Kehin carb!

So what did everyone think of the first round? I thought it was good! Think the ballot start was delt with well considering this was the first time it had been used. saw my dad catch a few people on section 4 who were concentrating on not putting there foot down and nealry going down a 10ft drop into the stream lol.

i want to do all the welsh rounds, Novogar, Manx 2 day and some more nationals! Looking forward to doing some trials displays in the summer as well!

oooohhh this piston business dont sound good, done a bit of work on mine now. Changed gearing to an 11-42 slowed it down a bit. I really like it! Had no problems running it in! I did hear about a 280 06 nipping up and cusing damage! I wont be happy if mine does!

just picked my new 300 up. Starts first kick! Suspension was very hard but is gettin better after a few hours on it. First thing i noticed was how light the front is now! cant tell much difference from last years just playing about! need to do some trials now to see what its really like!

i would say scorpa, even thou i dont like the things! seem to grip like hell

is it an orangy colour i got one! think its just for the course we did thou.

hey jools i thought it was a bit jumpy in the streams when i had a ago. I thought the shock was still hard thou! Ive jus p/exed my 280 for a new 300 so i hope mine at the same lol!

We and a few others are trying to promote trials in our area. Seems to be fairly popular with the public and show organisers. Even bikespace has rode one and he loved it!!! total trials

I agree with marky g there, may be not ross danby but in general. I am going to do the full novogar and welsh championship next year involves alot of money with diesel etc.. yet i dont get any sponsership. I also know a lot of good youth riders in wales who do not get sponsership. Why should i pay for some one else to go and i have to stay at local trial because we cant afford to travel? There some serious being spent in the youth scence, nearly every one has massive Merc sprinters, motorhomes!! What your doing for ross is great thou ian top job!!
