I too have seen a detailed guide on shipping a bike...thought it was on LewisportUSA, but cant seem to find it on there. I did find this on MotoSoup, not incredibly detailed though....

Need something to channel the dirt and water out... Before doing this, Id get a second opinion. You could get the brake pads out and use an axesaw to cut horizontal 'groves' across the pad. Secondly, get the disc and drill holes into it....not exactly sure on that one though. Like I said, get a second opinion, if Im wrong, please correct me.

What a load of BS!! I can see we have some real experts on this thread Now now... If you ride 3 beginner trials, and win say 2 of them...in my opinion, you are good enough to ride a higher level (depending on sections of course). A beginners trial is FOR beginners, not 'advanced' riders looking to show off to themselves. Whats the point in winning/riding a beginner trial if you know you can do more advanced stuff? Im not an expert (wish I were though). And it was only an opinion...chill.

I think it all depends on the club in my opinion. If you know the club well, you know what route to ride and you know what the sections hold. If you ride at a club you've never been to if difficult to decide the route.

I think as soon as your good enough to win say 2 trials in the beginner trial then your good enough to be last in the harder classes. An experienced rider in a beginner class in my books is cheating, dishonest and pathetic...even if the trial is just for fun, its just gives up the chance for the TRUE beginner to win a beginners trial, which is unfair.

If they got your details from the TC ads, they why would they ask condition of the bike and the price of the bike if it is alright showing in the details?

Hey, Was cleaning the bike earlier, and I have justed a new (to me) chain lube called PJ1 Black Label, It applys well...and attracts more dirt then little. Anyway, trying to clean the chain but the oil WILL NOT move. Any suggestions as to getting it off? Its all over my chain, and the remaining oil (after application) has gone all down my rear (and front) sproket...which is all black with dirt. Also it has dripped onto my rear wheel rim... Many thanks in Advance.

Just a question.. Why is it that forks for our trials bike are not widely sold as a 'part'? For example we can buy virtually any part for our bikes through an importer/dealer or website, but you never see forks being sold or advertised. If I rang sandifords, would they sell Showa forks? Cheers,
