Hi,you could try to pull the seals in by using a length of stud and a couple of nuts, put one nut on end of the stud, push it through the dog bone, put the seal on the face of where it is to go in,place something like a socket over the stud which will contact the OD of the seal, place the nut on the end of the stud and tighten it up to pull the seal into the dogbone.Hope you get my drift.
Andy.

-
Found this on EbayEBAY, does anyone know anything about it, found some bits about John Harris on the net.
-
Could be a stupid question, but have you checked that the bleed nipples are clear,I had some problems bleeding my brakes then realised the nipples were a bit blocked.
-
Dont know if anyone is interested but I contacted Craig with regards to the mentioned Exhausts that he has for sale(the
-
Has anyone checked these ones out? dont seem bad for
-
Just found the complete system and its here USA not much help I know as its in the USA
-
They are shown here BVM .Still only show either mid section or tail section?
-
Not sure if you can still get the WES two piece for the TY175,i think Hirst and others just sell the back box for use with the standard exhaust or the mid section to use without the back box?
PS I could be talking a load of balls.
-
Scott,
Whats CDB? anyway i have slotted the rear axle holes and redrilled and tapped holes with studs in the swing arm to push the wheel further back, but would be interested in a longer one,let us know if you have any more info.
-
Hi Scott,I know what your saying about the bottom rail but i think the rear engine mounts could be raised and the rails cut and then the two down tubes pulled back to meet the new engine position, which from my understanding is how some have been done.If I was going to do a single thing it would probably be to lay the shocks down just to see what difference it woul make. All these mods that you could make now to try and make your bike more like a Majesty does make me wonder just how many so called Majesty's out there are bikes that were altered by their owners..not sure what those splined bits were for?dont think they ever had a main stand, those two little brackets near the tool box came in handy for the bracket that holds me Boost Bottle.Dont think I would have bothered trying to alter the steering head angle.
-
Thanks you all for the info,I know there has been bits posted before on this with regards to the differences in the different models, does anyone know of a website dedicated to the Majesty models. One last thing, was there a TY175 Majesty that retained the bottom rails and sump pan,and if so was the engine raised on this also.I was thinking about getting a old TY175 frame and trying to make it into Majesty spec, anyone out there done it?
-
Hi all, could somebody just explain to me about the Majesty frame shown in zarkoff's photo,i was under the impression that that the frame section under the engine was cut away on the Majesty and replaced by a heavy duty sump pan,or was this only on certain models?
-
2shock,
I also realize thatc some of you fanatics will put more cash and effort into solving a problem than me!!Cheers
did you not spend about

Hi,it just sounds like the shoes need a little time to bed in then,if you think about it there probably isnt much of the shoes touching the drum at the moment, this could be evident if you remove the drum and look at where the points of contact are,the grooves probably dont help.I would give it a good run and give the front brake some stick.
-
The problems you are having could be that the drum is so worn that when the brake shoes expand to the max by the cam they are only just touching the drum,is the cam a nice fit in the brake housing?..Have you tried to lock up the brake just by levering on the brake arm?
PS the new shoes will take a while to bed in.

Thanks for that info Blocky,I was wondering if anyone out that had tried changing the little end bearings to try and get rid of the rattle.I once changed some little end bearings on a Yamaha YDS7(The one before the RD250)and it made absolutely no difference but if anyone out there has had some good results by changing them on a TX200 then please let me know.
-
Hi,got a bit of a top end rattle on my 98 TX200,the bike runs good but there is this anoying little rattle on tick over and i was wondering if it would be worth taking the barrel off to have a look and maybe put in a new little end.Whats the experts advice on this one please?
-
There must be a million and one things that could wipe us out so who gives a f**k
-
Keep your old bike and get something a bit newer, you dont have to spend a fortune I got a 98 GasGas TX200 off Ebay for
-
They are available HERE?,Idid think about it myself but not sure if it would knock out the mains,I think they could also be on the limit, like no more rebores, but not sure.
-
TooFastTim,I cant see where your going with this one.

Dr Nick, that is interesting, back in 95 I traveling home one evening and it was dark, about 10pm and had about 3 miles left to the end of my journey when right infront of me was a large amber ball shape flash, which shot off to my left, the strange thing was the trace it left,a bit like if you was to spin a torch around on a bit of string,I know the effect is caused by the eye retaining the vision for 1/25 th of a second, but if you can imagine this in a straight line on the horizon then going up,like bouncing of the sky then this is what is was like. When I got home I was so excited I told the wife to turn on the radio and keep a check on the local news, there was nothing, convinced there would be something in the local paper the next day, next day came and there was nothing.
PS. I thought I would save this one to last to try and get it back on track.I am sure there are more stories out there, dont be afraid.
-
Dabster, what I find strange is when somebody says they have seen strange lights in the sky that travel at speeds you cant explain,to then say you need an explanation as to why the radar didnt detect it sounds a bit daft. Its a bit like saying my metal detector wont detect spuds.
