  1. WoW! I sorta like the blue, as it seems a bit more mellow! Good job Ed! May be just enough of a change to make it different! And without reinventing the wheel! As things go. Next call, BUKU Graphics!
  2. Slapshot, I will do my best if possible to get him drunk enough in TN so he reveals his wallet! I realize it is seldom seen! But untill both you can approach Dabster, you must still address us as Sr. Ha! Where is big John? Born in the 50's?
  3. From the Sherco Master tuner! PAXAU
  4. Wot about the bikes performance?
  5. I agree, only problem is it seems they say 3.2 on the rear mudguard? A bit odd? Caby graphics? Maybe? Custom? It always scares me, cause as soon as I put them on, I will have a bad one!(CRASH!) I have it, a custom red tank insert! W/ black trim and logo! If the bloddy yellow is under my butt, I cannot see it!
  6. That is great stuff, good job. I would think those are the local Int and Exp lines? Similar to some of the big rocks at the Tishomingo site, my head gets dizzy with height! Was showing some of this to the guys at work today, they ask "can you do that", my response, SURE, but right after I got up that big ridge rock, I would be soo happy I would surely fall off the side of it!
  7. I have to admit Dabster made some points, but I am a bit in disagreement about having Chaves as a minder. David is a very good rider and a quick study. He is always very helpful and has offered much, it seems. More than any others, as I have not seen anyone else offer up much as far as a helping hand or a place to stay for Pat. If you put the shoe on the other foot! Put the majority of the rounds in the US with a flyaway in the EU and Japan, you would probably find much more help, specially for the youth riders. I was recently told by Dale, the US GG importer, that Louise may get to spend some time with Jordi as a helping hand to her. I hope so! I do not care if you are a class champ or not, the exchange program for the kids is worth it in itself. And I can actually tell you that it is possible in at least a couple of places that I can think of. Maybe CHARLIE will PM me!
  8. Is that the one with the indoor pool? Maybe if I can get off work and find my way there, I can still manage to help Big Al out with some refreshments Friday and/or Saturday evening at Cabin 5. I suppose he will be there as I have not confirmed with him. You guys try and stop by and say hello!
  9. Hi Deano and welcome! We'll try to help in the Sherco forum. You can change you profile to list where you are located.
  10. Where did you try? There ars several in Kimball. Acuff inn in Jasper is probably the closest. 1-800-782-7217 There are more closer to Chattanooga, take your pick, all within 30min. Did you try Country Hearth inn, Kimball , 1-800-759-5804 There is a Holiday inn express, and I think a Comfort inn, and one other in Kimball Hope that helps
  11. Should be plenty here in TX and OK in the fall months, Octobertest is the biggie!
  12. As stated, consistancy is key, and you can expect TN to be a real ball buster!
  13. You see I have little space in the Sherco Skunkwerkz as the wife has most the shed space filled with useless junk! Although I do have other resourses, I keep it simple at home. Real men cook with charcoal and wood(mesquite or hickory)! The propane is just to keep myself from freezing in the winter! Tombo's gasser is cool, I seen those pics before. Started to do it full red rim, but it is somewhat easier to polish out small nics on the sides if you do not have ti do the whole thing, so paid the extra to begin with! I did the fork clamps in black as well so I would not have to try and keep them polished, Clive! You think I'm going to polish a muff? I admit it looks a bit better if I hit it with some scotchbrite! I did polish the fork brace to a high luster, just like the old ones!

    Noisey Engine

There are "normal" noises as they are not perfectly quiet when new. Piston noise, gear noise , clutch rattle! At that throttle opening, some ignition ping is not uncommon depending upon fuel, and engine load as they are tuned sort of "on the edge". I would not freak out yet, just ride it a bit and break it in. Go to a trial and find others to compare, or other first hand knowledge from someone familar. Some of this depends upon year model as well, with changes over time in head design and such. I always ran my earlier bikes on higher octane fuel, but the latter bikes seem to run fairly well on US 93 octane, although I do have a bit of ping at times.

    Red Rim Bitch!

I told someone I would at least put up a piccie! I think I shall flog it a while longer! Good working nick is primary, probably only seen about 20 or so trials over the year, wish I could get rid of the yellow, hate to spring for new stickers on the old mudguard which is stressed but still in there. I brushed up the chain and applied more WD-40 just to keep some happy! Still on half or so! Tits on the Dunlop!
  16. The professor likes taking a bit of p*** out of them, this should be good! This is just a bitch, I hope the rest can get through!
  17. Anyone witness the TRW 125 Monty?
  18. It is obvious to me that this entire note was pilfered from someone else, some old gripy fart the age of Dabster! Born in the 50's, pack it in soon! The old prostate will go next you friggin antique! Surely not our spry Andy! Could'nt be a day over 40!
  19. Who is Charlie? That reminds me I seen the new trailer. Craig has is own room in the left rear!
  20. Take it to a proper welder. You can then grind it down to where you can hardly tell. Seems all the Spanish Morad rims are the same.
  21. For just a moment, I could envision Slapshot's warm welcome, so I had to look! Cheers,
  22. Yes honey, I admit it, the dog does have more GIRTH than me!(Keep that thing tucked away you mutt)!
  23. Section three is where the points came from, but as you say, it is all history now, and a heluva good ride nontheless! Learning to shake this stuff off is just as important as anything, you just take a lesson and move on. Trials is Trials! And tell RYPat I found the ball in the mouth thingie he wanted to go with the Michelin man suit! Had to make a special trip to the local specility shop! No prob! Prey for rain in TN------NOT!
  24. Could not quite tell the reason for the five from that vantage point. Rollback? The whistle seemed a bit late.
