    Sherco Maintenance

Antisieze all your bolts that'r supposed to move when you need u'm and Locktight all the others! Ck your brake disc bolts, not supposed to move!
  2. You did a skeleton with a pole up the chute, any relation to Zipper? I got your "free lunch"! Sorry Biff, I just could not resist! Happy Halo! It really is cute, I guess, sort of, maybe! That is a SHIP, you know!
  3. Jezza, your observations are not just total BS, they are amazingly accurate! I should add that if you want to complete more trials without a mechanical failure, buy more spare parts to tote around with you. Chances are you will never use them and yet still not have what you need when you need it!
  4. Thest wave rotors have more holes than disk! Stop well and the brakes still squeal to beat heck with the stock Galfer pads! To me that has become a good thing! If they ain't squealing, they ain't working right it seems! Let 'um squeal!
  5. If your hose is hard on both ends and soft in the middle, you have a problem!
  6. Be patient, your stuff is in the hands of the US Postal service! Have faith man! Do you ave any metric twist drills in Canada? 12mm per chance?
  7. Gentlemen please! No joking about the ass! I mean, No joking, about the ass! I mean, No joking about, the ass! I mean, No joking about, well, you know, The ass
  8. Ah, good to hear from you Martin and wish you the best! No roumour mongering here, just the facts. However I am somewhat concerned about the cost of ALL new bikes with the rates being what they are and all. Difficult times it seems for many. I just hope that proper support can continue, which seems it will, and that is a good thing. Trials is a tough game for all! Hope to see you around for a LONG time!
  9. Stump Magnet, good to hear, still waiting to hear from the others, but i suppose Titanium had to make the special Ti bushing before trying! That is ok, maybe market them together as a totally corossion - proof kit! Meanwhile, i'm going to send one to Steve Fracy to try on his 4T as well. I figure if he likes it, then Ishy will want a few and I can charge him extra for the R&D work! Good success with packing the boot on the rear cylinder with the silecon paste(dielectric) it seems so far. No water entry or corrosion where the rod goes through the boot or up into the assembly.
  10. Do you wear it, at home, -----much?
  11. Oops, sorry, I did not see the question! Basically in this context it means if you feel adventurous, c'mon over, I'll reserve you a spot! You can ride my bike! 50 quid for the weekend all inclusive! You just have to get there!
  12. I suppose that along with the WTC event in TN, we will see many of the top experts ride along with the Youth and the US pros ride with the Juniors, or above as I think 1 or 2 may try! As it is not tied to the NATC series, nothing to loose, all to gain! Yet Smage will still be on the 125 in the Youth as I understand. At least I believe it should be allowed, as it is a great learning experience for them! Fills the field as well! Any talk from Dan on this? Although the NATC rounds seem to be a short schedule, there will also be another Big money event in the spring, Mar/April , at the Tishomingo OK site and all are welcome to ride and participate. $5000 Pro pot so far I think! Great outing for the snowbirds! Of course there is still roumour of Saunders coming back to try and snatch a US title sponsored by ?, the schedule would make that convenient! Wonder what Caby is up to on those weekends? I need to call! What's the number for Spain? Aha! Yes, here it is!
  13. No, we have too many rednecks that would like to meet them! Do you?
  14. A young Chinese couple gets married. She's a virgin. Truth be told, he is a virgin too, but she doesn't know that. On their wedding night, she cowers naked under the sheets as her husband undresses in the darkness. He climbs into bed next to her and tries to be reassuring. "My darring," he whispers, "I know you berry flighten. I pomise you, I give you anyting you want, I do anyting - juss anyting you want. You juss ask... so... what u want?" he says, trying to sound experienced and worldly, which he hopes will impress her. A thoughtful silence follows and he waits patiently (and eagerly) for her request. She eventually shyly whispers back, "I want to try someting I have heard about from other girls... Numbaa 69." More thoughtful silence, this time from him. Eventually, in a puzzled tone he asks her... "You want... Garlic Chicken with steam vegetable?"
  15. Well the big news last week was that RYP had taken on Montesa as importer, it was even even published on the US Montesa website as I understand. Perhaps prematurely as I just looked at the site, seems they still have stock from '05 yet unsold and new imports are, well? No mention of RYP, guess it did not happen, shame. As quoted from the Montesa site: 2008 News It is unclear of the dates and times of arrival or the amount of 2008 units that will be imported, or even possibly not. It is certian the the price of the 2008 if imported will be a retail of $8,900.00 for the standard unit and $9,499.00 for the Repsol, we are not publishing any photos on these units at this time. Whats Available; October 1, 2007 We currently have; a few 05' Repsols, 06' standard, 06' Repsol, and 07 Standard, stock is limited on all units. Add a few Mitani bits and you are there!!!!!!! $10,000 rock basher!!!!!! The rates have taken their toll, certainly will not help sell bikes! Near $7000 for a new 2T as I understand, 4T Beta or Sherco is much higher, can't wait for a 4T Gasser in '09! Maybe it will help used bike rates at least!
  16. Seems I have ridden at least a dozen times now with it and no problems! Pedal is still reasonably tight with proper clearance and such. No problems with feel once accustomed. I did note that on the "08 model I had a ride on last weekend, they seem to have made some minor changes to the pedal once again. Seem only slight though, with maybe a bit of reinforcement at the tip.
  17. The business end, man them rocks are tough, and sharp! Huge hills in the wood!
  18. The dam. One of Avala's vids shows him in action riding up this!
  19. Reminds me of an old movie, two guys standing at the urinals. "Can you get one of "them" in white?", he asked!!!!!
  20. ain't: Scottish verb meaning "shove it"!!!!!
  21. Good soldiers are not popular politicians, as per George Patton, maybe that is why I am not at the NATC "lick fest" accross town ! However, if you just want to stir a little crap, I'm your huckelberry! Where TF is Ringo?
  22. I have no reason to doubt any of it! I suppose if the same report said that a Chinese copy of the Marzocci fork and Olle or Ohlins shocker were excellent I would have a much more difficult time swallowing it! Time will tell! Wow what a roumor! The production bikes will have Showa copy suspension off the Mont! And a Verlicci copy frame as an option! Only adds 2-3 kilos and all your Monty stickers will fit! BS!
