  1. Sweet! You should have lots of fun destroying that! Where are you located, we need to find a few friends to help!
  2. I know exactly what you mean here, but as I often use different methods of cartage, I must sometimes lift the bike! Not always easy when tired and covered with mud! Firstly, can you not ues some type of ramp on your kit? Secondly, Billy is correct, your abs must work! Geting height by lifting by the swingarm helps! If you need more height, u need help! Call another rider over if need be! My favorite method is still just putting down the ramp and telling the local hot shot kid to ride it up into the truck!
  3. Funny they never show you what a real pain can be in them manuals! BFH is always next to last resort There is always the Cutting Torch!

  5. Haaaaaaaa! Hey, maybe Mich will show up for a little lick fest!

    Us Montesa-

Ooah, Gee that could mean several things! I suppose Adrian will have to drop doing the GasGas camp now that he will will have to attend to a lot of Hottie Tottie Mont riders!
  8. She does have a nice smile does'nt she! Good teeth are important in a girl you know!
  9. Hopefully the above stated methods will work, otherwise you need a specialty "dead blow" plastic hammer so as not to damage things! OR try a good wooden block to drive the end of the crankshaft if that is what is stuck! You should be able to tell if it is the crank end that is stuck if they are already moved apart somewhat!

    Beta 125

Ron Commo the US importer has a full top kit for the bike! Says piston life is pretty short in the full comp model, but he could probably do something in between! Maybe he will chime in? PM -- RON !
  11. Gee, that stuff looks really good, what do you do with it? What is "tig time" ? Is that sort of like my "no time"? I did crank up the "Big Mig" this year to do some trailer repairs for a friend, does that count? I can burn on that heavy stuff all I need, no prob! It does not evaporate in front of my eyes! The Tig unit has sat all year and then some!
  12. I like Ryan's saying, a splatter does not require any skill, he forgot the last part, LARGE GONADS! Just pull the trigger!
  13. Not to confuse a "squeal" with a "moan" as if they were wet with something, typically a goog "squeal' means they are working well! I have come to like that sound!
  14. Al, Do you think it helps to try and flush these thing out with solvent or something periodically? Burn them out? Some seem to "load them up' badly. I try to run the bike hard to get some heat in them on occasion, get some smoke, plus use the K2 synthetic, never really had a problem, although I am sure there is some build up in there. My theory would be something anong the lines of the fact that the "glass" may get packed solid, thus allowing excess internal pressure build which then takes out glass fiber and all. In other words, clog up, then blow out the innerds! So preventing the initial clogging may be the key? What do you think?
  15. Actually, Craig is a fine upstanding individual, and a good mid class rider as well, he can kick some butt in the sections ! U see, Craig has an advantage, he can have a few beers after an event and does not have to drive home, he makes the boys drive, lucky for him! I wish I could pull that off!
  16. Maybe you and Craigger can go practice together after the event!
  17. I would tend to agree with Bikespace, The kids that size get on with the 125's quite well it seems, but i think the Beta and Sherco are more forgiving and better torque!

    Visiting

Them guys are probable ass deep in snow by then!
  19. Looks like a proper ******* to me! And there is no money for 4T trials development, guess where it went!
  20. You might try to PM Marlintec as i seem to recall he had some experience with them on the 4T. Possibly Ishy as well!
  21. As you inspect, clean and lube any of the headstock bearings, you should take them to a slight preload on the quartered nut, ck for smoothness of operation and slight resistance, then place the top clamp, set forks then secure the top nut! A bit of preload on tapered bearings is the key! If your bearings of races are knackered, toss them!
  22. Just had to put another of Ben that I found, he does not ALWAYS have a beer in hand! They came a long way to ride!
  23. I'm just glad Keenan was not in his "tighties" again on that one, would have ruined the pic!
