Was told the other day that Debbie Evans Leavitt was involved in an accident while performing her stuntwork. Seems a car jumped out in front of her at signifigant speed. Fractured hip or pelvis along with other injuries as I recall, all this while coming off another back surgury as I think, as well.
Just wanted to take a moment to give Debbie and the family (Lane and Daniel i think)my(our) best wishes! And hope for a speedy recovery!
Deb is a piece of US trials history! Just seen her pics posted with some from the 70's. Quite a brave lady!
Once again, Best To You All! Merry Christmas, and may God bless,
MC

Now if I can just get all the coffee out of my nose after reading Stoodly's report!

Sincere Apologies To Everyone,
Over the past few years I have forwarded funny pictures and jokes to friends who I thought shared the same sense of humor. Made numorous posts of the same. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and I seem to have upset quite a few people who have accused me of being sexist and shallow. If you were one of these people, please accept my humblest apologies.
From now on I will only post with a cultural or educational content such as Sherco repairs, old monuments, nature and other interesting structures. Sherco's don't break much so:
Find attached a picture of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris.
P.S. For those of you who are interested, Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris< /st1:City> and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604. "Le Pont Neuf" is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven arches and the other with five arches.

You guys are really starting to embarrass me , next thing you know, I'll have to try to clean up my image, sort of like City Trials, just before Ringo's comments on the E-cross thread blew it for him, he is officially out of the closet now
I thought what happened in Vegas was supposed to, well nevermind. He deserves it!
I have to bow down to Ringo, he has more class than I could ever try to match, better speller too! And there are still others that linger that make me look like the amature that I am. Now if he'll just do that TDN donation competition!
I am just that regular nut, I don't really want to pick on anyone like Iceman(Eric), his hormone level is just too unstable, and I don't want to be the one to push him over the edge, puberty is tough enough, go sniff your finger kid, it's ok.
I really feel like I need to apologise to some others, like Craig, RON, and Ringo for being a jerk at times, but in the absence of others, I do like to keep things interisting on this site. We have lots of famous folks that view this stuff! THAT does it, my future posts will be PURE class! I'll start right now! I'm as happy as a little girl! and Big Al has not given me a vote yet, so I need to impress him with my capacity for european culture, since he has seen most of it!
-
If you only knew! Did some little birdie tell you that I could'nt hit a boot with an empty wine bottle?
-
What does it pay?
I have not seen Clive since the friday before the last world round. He was pretty beat up, probably does not remember me coming over to shake his hand.
Remember, I was the one standing in the Sherco pit with Caby and Chaves, trying to speak enough pigeon spanish to get Caby to sign my shirt and David kept using the word loco, trying to help!

It's all clear as mud now!
Barry wants to be reimbursed because Chris wanted to take Chad who saved the day because Noel is to lazy to plug tires and Kip was taking care of the rest and Bill was taking pictures, while lunch was being made, and Barry had to foot the bill! No wonder he's p****d!
Hey, it's ok! Next year, if you can get me a week off work, in europe, for $1400, I'll plug some tires, kick some butt, maybe even fix a Gasser, and serve you some crappy sandwiches and make you like it!
Let me know early cause I need to save a few extra bucks for them German girls!
-
I cannot recall all from years past, but a recent web search seems to reveal Rotax, Bombardier, Can-am and others all under one roof now, including Johnson/ Evanrude outboards for boats! Lots of shared technology there!
Aircraft, boats, motorcycles, snow, watercraft, quads!
-
Yea, you just need the 'soft map" just costs a few quid more!!!!!!!!
-
Man I'm glad Chad was there, Noel is way too lazy to plug tires!
-
In trying to recall the rotary valves in dirt bikes, I know Kawasaki had some in the '70s as well, seems I recall the carbs actually inside the side cover!
I think the SWM had the bombardier motor, did it not? Quite the rig for its day! Same old Dellorto attached as many of todays bikes! Yikes! I think they got their moneys worth out of those castings!
-
I know what you mean as well. I cannot even seem to get Ringo to commit to the wager donation against Craig just to see who makes it the furthest in the E-cross, no less getting any body else to pitch in!
I realize it is all just for fun, and pride, but it could also be a big help!
On another note, there is NO excess money it seems. I do not want to seem rude here, just practicle. How many minders are needed? How many went? These have to be TEAM minders at an event! It is a TEAM effort!
Now I say that, as it is a valid question, I seen pics of two for sure. What is the team manager doing while the trials is going on?
Just asking honest questions here.
-
Sounds like tru love to me, although if you will notice, she does'nt want to watch you either! Oh well, that's how it goes!
-
Not that I know of, maybe T&MX does international out of the UK!
-
Although I do not own one, I must admit that on the several rides I have had thus far on the '08, I am a bit miffed with it. Big button, little button, map 1 or 2 and not a lot of change in the mid range it seems, but to a top rider there should be a difference in the high revs, the rest of us mere mortals just leave it in low, which is the big button I think, seems I recall it labeled 2? Which should provide smoother low end and less kickback or backfire when starting.
Reports are that the stator plate can be adjusted just like the old ones should you want to smooth things even more. That is all I know!

-
I think you must be a site supporter to post them directly, otherwise you must host them elsewhere and link to them!
-
Can't find that post, I think the fellow said 75 quid for a piston, cannot imagine you need one on an '07 unless you've eaten it away with mud and dirt, a new ring should do the trick!
Not sure about Addict, something has his wire bent! Fill us in Dad!
-
That IS some gowd awful ugly orange stuff!
-
Gee, I kinda liked that one!
Just because they have wigs and pantyhose does'nt make them gay, they just use them to stay warm in the winter!
Chill out, ERIC! Btw, I still need ten bucks!
-
I ordered new specticles, shoud be in soon, will that help?

Late quote from the site:
I got a call from my bro after he finished the first loop and he said that they were supposed to have their results when they got but it wasnt working. He said they were having problems with the scoring system. maybe they will figure it out and post it later.
He told me only 3 guys finished the first loop and i belive the results after the 2nd loop was
1st Taddy Blazusiak
2nd. Geoff Aaron
3rd: David Knight
Knight had to pull out of the 2nd loop because he got sick. he even had to have oxygen when he got back.
cant wait to see the tv coverage on speed in january.
Wow!
