    Kickstart problem

The Gearbox needs to be in neutral or have the clutch lever pulled in to start the bike , have you assembled the kick start shaft/gear and the parts correctly is it inserted fully into the engine casing before replacing the clutch casing .Check your work again following the service manual. Regards Alan.
  2. As I cannot see what you are doing I may be wrong but as you describe the problem being that fluid will not push or pull through the system it would seem that the piston in the master cylinder is not against the clip that retains it in the bore and as such is blocking the fluids return to the reservoir. Regards Alan.
  3. Hello you can test the thermo sensor in a pan of boiled water and use a multimeter set to continuity on the terminals. As regards the clutch if you are on a budget you could just use the bike and see how it goes, and slip the clutch a lot to encourage them to comply but personally I would bin them and fit new plates. Regards Alan.
  4. Try Haase low friction sprockets sold on ebay by hanson-racing , they are on facebook also
  5. Hello yes It was from SW trials as you thought. For the purchaser with money to burn?
  6. ebay uk now GasGas TXT 250 270 280 AJP Clutch Lever ( M/C + Lever + Hose ) £50 . Item no 116709663436 MX & Trials Spares WS6 6LS Tel 07872329743.
  7. In the UK cheap second hand ICE bikes are not selling , the prices are dropping by hundreds and still no sale , Adam Raga dumped by TRS , a Mechatecno on Ebay dropped from 9,000.00 to 5,500.00 and still no sale after months. Sherco makes a budget ICE model for the market. Personally I do not see any room for any type of trials bike in the market certainly not something that costs 10,000 just to faff about on a Sunday afternoon.
  8. On early models they used to put them under the seat/airbox on the left hand side /gear change side but later models it went where yours is now as its better placed. the tube is the thing that will melt between the reservoir and the rear master cylinder and needs a long spring over it for heat /crush protection. if you need a new piece of tubing it is made of EPDM plastic to survive DOT4 brake fluid 6mm/8mm internal diameter. Regards Alan.
  9. Hello cut a bit off the allen key to get in there better and work it slowly then swap it for a normal bolt with two or three washers when you put it back on ...... or use a flexi extension to get on the allen bolt.
  10. Your picture shows that the reservoir is fitted where it should be fitted.
  11. @Seabag Yep that is as far as it will go on .
  12. @Seabag The kick pedal slides on the splines and then a allen bolt goes through a tophat washer and is screwed into the hole in the center of the shaft thus holding the pedal on the shaft , its best to use medium thread lock on the bolt or it can sometimes loosen off if it has been overtightened in the past. Check the parts book exploded view drawings to see how things are put together. Best wishes Alan.

  16. I think you have only one choice nowadays that is the set made by SURFLEX approx £130.00 from a Trials specialist.
  17. Something is wrong with your clutch mastercylinder or the slave or the hose has a hole in it. If your standard clutch isn't working then putting a new clutch in it is very unlikely to rectify that. https://youtu.be/hdHmiNNgL2I?si=SQVmrH_Ud1a_

  20. Make sure your clutch lever is as far away from your fingers when you are holding the bar grip as it can be by turning the perch adjuster anti clockwise then adjust the small allen head adjuster screw that has a 10mm lock nut on the clutch lever so that there is approx 1mm of free play before it makes contact with the mastercylinder piston. this will seperate the clutch plates as much as possible when you pull the clutch lever in to give the least amount of drag at the clutch plates which will help to engage neutral. NB If when you make that adjustment your clutch lever does not touch against the bar grip then adjust the lever until it just touches the grip or when you crash the piston in the clutch master cylinder may become damaged. With this adjustment the clutch will be at its hardest pressure to pull with one finger.
  21. Even new bikes have problems sometimes , its all good because as you work through it you learn a load of things that will help you in many future problems. Have a good evening . Best wishes Alan.
  22. You could try removing what gas you can from the tank then elevate the rear of the bike so any remaining fuel moves away from the tap outlet. Did you try to drain fuel with the tank cap removed?
