    4rt clutch

poor people are starting to realise how rich people got rich , why sell a 100 bottles when you can sell just one and then take the rest of the day off. to cheat at golf.

    4rt clutch

Hello, I do not think anyone can argue with your logic it is just a Trial bike thing , Certain brands of stuff are what make people happy in their world. The main question is why would a person need to spend 8000.00 when they could save themselves 7000.00. https://youtu.be/4TGavmuYCCQ?si=IxjTqoG2zf5EE Start it a 3m 46s for some trials action. There are many people in UK club trials who would struggle to do that on a current 2026 250cc bike..

    4rt clutch

Sorry to do this but ELF HTX 740 is very well known in the trials community as a for use in wet clutch trials motors , regardless of what it states on the labels .More specifically for use in Honda trials clutches and has also been used by some riders in other brands of trials bikes for many many years.
  4. The losses are more than 11,000 motorcycles and all the spare parts on site have been destroyed . the only thing not destroyed is the production facilities and the admin departments . As there is no where to store anything that is produced / manufactured at this moment , everything is paused and admin staff are working from home until further notice.
  5. Try vvvvvmxyyyyuuuuggj somewhere some place.
  6. Looking at those photographs I cannot see anything . You will just have to trace your steps back until you find the problem .Best wishes Alan.
  7. Welcome to the site in sunny GREAT BRITAIN , AKA ,The UNITED KINGDOM.
  8. Without actually seeing what everything looks like in your build it would be difficult to say , perhaps if you took photos of all the parts as they are ready to be assembled and up load on here , then it may become clear what the cause is.
  9. @Nigel_Mercer I guess that some one put the wrong numbers into the machine on the batch you bought and they somehow ended up for sale.
  10. Just buy a new rim and get the wheel rebuilt, Its the only way its going to be great again.
  11. @ahell For its age I would not call that a dirtbag , considering that it is a trials bike it looks fairly good. In the UK that would have been for sale in that same condition for 2000.00 Euros so you paid well under its real value if you paid 200.00 Euros for it. Lucky you.
  12. Did not see your earlier post saying you pressed it on using some loctite. As that is the case you know what your options are so its a closed case. I am talking to myself of course.
  13. I know who you are and that you are a serious rider on Honda machinery and therefore know what you are talking about but Mitani who have pretty good knowledge of the Honda motors engineering wise reckon this movement can happen in approx 1 year of use. With the amount of torque the motor produces and the abrupt use of clutches in trials sections ,as happens, then an interference fit steel part in a softer aluminium outer part is going to start twisting and enlarging the alloy part in the same way that the rivet holes on the clutch bell elongate in the end and give rise to slop. I am happy to go with Mitanis' view based on engineering.
  14. I think the rules in the UK are very clear. The rule is NO STOP with stop allowed. Watch this years SSDT , a trial that is marked under the no stop allowed rule , and the top riders were stopping and then hopping the back wheel sideways about a foot before setting off again at certain sections .That in my opinion is not stopping , stopping is when you have not moved for more than about 5 minutes which is still not really stopping it is a brief lull. I hope that clarifies the current system. If stopping was stopping Doug Lampkin would have had quite a few more marks than he did along with plenty more of the field of riders. Rolling backwards is OK as long as the observer on duty thinks that it is. Remember , as long as the observer follows his own set of rules and applies them exactly the same to all participants , then it does not really matter what the actual rules are.
  15. Perhaps something like LOCTITE 270 anaerobic permanent adhesive could help or a strong bearing retaining anaerobic adhesive. such as LOCTITE 638
  16. @Guidoxpress Looks like a one -off home made job. You can extract the (screw threaded part ?) that is still in the post of the clutch casing and take both parts to a machine shop and get them to make a replica of the broken part or get a new or second hand casing .
  17. @F5Dave "They weren't allowed " what is that so outsiders cannot notice that the rising price of fuel is affecting the cost of shipping adversely. Strange days. Have fun. Regards Alan
  18. @F5Dave Hello , Looks like you are getting somewhere with this now , The reason I suggested the 2007 onwards is because it will be the most likely available as a scrapped bike that will have a 1.5mm thick Belville spring , bearing in mind that this if original has been under pressure for a long time also it will have been used quite a bit and so will be weakened , therefore more like a 1.2mm thick spring . Finding earlier GasGas Pro bikes scrapped is quite easy but the later model PROS' are not being scrapped yet in numbers that make parts cheap. It just widens your search and makes it cheaper by starting with a 2007. If you can find a breaker with a post 2015 that's within budget then you will have what you perhaps require , But bear in mind the TRIALWORLD.ES kit supplies the spring that you already have in your bike as part of their version of the soft clutch kit. . Good luck with your search . I hope it works out and you get the clutch effect you want. Best wishes Alan.
  19. @F5Dave The parts in the TRIALWORLD.ES WEB SHOP SITE show that the spring for their soft clutch set up kit is PART # 05011MT100. This spring is the same one used as standard fitment in the 2018 125/250/280/300cc bikes if this is the case then making the Clutch pack 10.00mm thick and adding the "Hard" adjustable clutch support ring is all that is needed to improve the clutch. Check it for your self in the relative info I put on from Trialworld.es and Non-Stop. All the parts you need are all available as supplied from the TRS parts catalogue.
  20. @ F5Dave Here are the measurements used by TRS to make the clutches suit three types of rider: Clutch pack thickness. Held in hand Spring thickness Adjustable clutch ring support EXPERT 9.85mm 1.5-1.7mm DURO/HARD INTER 9.85mm 1.5mm MEDIO/MEDIUM NOVICE 10.00mm unknown DURO/HARD The unknown spring is probably going to be around 1.2mm thick . If a GasGas Pro spring will fit then get a second hand clutch out of a 2007 on GasGas Pro and use that spring and see how that works along with a hard clutch support ring and a 1.6mm clutch steel plate or whatever you need to do to get the clutch pack thickness to 10.00mm.
  21. https://int.nonstopbikes.com/blog/trrs-clutch-upgrade-kit-2018-current-5c/ As it is a S3 kit then a trials shop some where in the world probably has 1 in stock .as of yet unsold but if you do not search you will not find it's that simple. I will have a guess that the reason they do not have the video on the site is probably because people could then work out that they could make up a kit themselves from individual parts and do it cheaper using Casales' tips on how to fit the bits to achieve a soft clutch.
  22. The kit is made by S3 parts in Spain it has 1x clutch steel plate 1.6 mm thick , 1x diaphragm spring and a adjustable spring support ring (duro) which means hard in english . www.trialworld.es has them listed at 99 Euros as a TRRS CLUTCH IMPROVEMENT AND SMOOTHING KIT. S3 is a company that for decades has made all the motor cylinders for nearly every Trials bike made in recent history. Try e-mailing S3 parts and see what they say.
  23. There are an awful lot of Trials shops all around the world , you probably will find one of them has some old stock sat around.
  24. Did you lubricate the Xiu bearings before fitting them , I mean the bearing races not the bearing housing , Have you seen the Jim Snell video.
  25. @PapaWheelie The video titled 'Jim Snell-USA-GASGAS TRIALS ENGINE REPAIR , PRO KICK-START SYSTEM' that is 11.09 mins long shows very clearly where the kick stop is positioned in various images , starting at 4m 46s. It is clear to me how it should be fitted. Perhaps you are seeing a different video?
