Seems it was the HT coil, tried a new one and it runs fine, even put the old one back on to check.
-
Dry plug,
Yes fuel is in the float bowl
-
Hoping someone can help me on this?
My fantic has developed a problem!
It will start ok, run then die like the kill button is pressed, some times it will run for a few seconds other times a few minutes
Disconnected kill switch completely
Check earth and all connections, good
Cleaned carb with airline all good,
Stator was rewound after the new year
Spark is good,
Replaced plug, cap and HT lead
Top coil is 12 month old dans tyoe,
Fault started after a couple of sections of trial, it was running great 5 weeks earlier on the last outing.

Try Steve Plain motorcycles
-
Mine runs 125 flywheel, bigger airbox, straight through silencer, 26mm dellorto carb, they've got plenty of go and a slightly better than the 200 minarreli
-
Personally a new dellorto carb would be a better purchase, may get away with new slide and jets but the body will be worn also. And as mentioned above electrics need to be spot on
-
The 200 minarelli are prone if timing is not bang on, only needs a tiny movement
-
Check flywheel key, they snap if you haven't tourqued the flywheel past what you would think was tight, it will still spark some times
-
Yes I think 240 shaft would fit, I did have both along side each other last year and pretty sure they were the same just the 240 is longer, I found out by trying to get an alloy 'section' kickstart to fit on my 200 pro it could not go all the way on shaft and still turn. So pretty much think a 240 shaft and casing would be fine, may need a 240 kickstart aswell because of the offset, but just remember how awesome the little bikes are so it is worth it.
-
Steve has been riding the Majesty in the Euro cup for the last few years taking a lot of wins. He is dedicated to the make, but the main thing he's an honest guy.
-
Yes I just mean if you put a 240 casing on a 200 kickstart shaft won't be long enough, I may be wrong, I'll check as I'm sure I've a 240 casing in the shed
-
If you going to put a 240 casing on you may need a 240 kickstart shaft I think! Both would be easier than finding a fm237

Tried the springs today and very happy, as soon as I lifted it off the stand I noticed the front end was sitting up and not sagging. They feel good, easy to alter with reducing the spacer height adjuster.
Don't get me wrong they are no Showa forks, and the original springs were 30 years old so they needed a birthday!
-
Glenn, will do, the springs are actually shorter than the original fantic ones, spring thickness is slightly thicker and obviously the tighter progressive coil at one end, going to try them tomorrow hopefully.
-
Ordered the springs on Monday evening and they were at my door 8.00 Thursday, excellent service.
-
Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of a pair of Magical fork springs ? Is there a UK importer now
-
A standard tank off a 200 is slimmer than a 240 but not as slim as the fiberglass, as long as the fiberglass tank has been treated with a liner such as Caswells they should be ok,
-
Ive kept to the 428 chain as it helps with clearance on the brake rod, I would advise changing the chain tensioner position if you haven't already and stick with 25mm standard carb unless you modify airbox, great bikes, just wish I rode mine more!
-
Wobbler The pegs are moved down and back , just say they are above the skid plate level.
360 rock shocks, air box is standard with extra piece moulded in so carb rubber is straight in.
Steering has been pulled in and strengthend inside gusset,
Silencer is custom made and fits inside rear of frame where the loop was cut off.
It has a price tag if anyones interested.
-
If it wasn't full of adverts that obviously pay for the mag, and had some usefull articles with reports and photos of you average Joe at club trials it probably wont have much in it after a month unless you've a dozen people to report from different counties. Only my opinion
-
Mattylad, the mudguard is off a 4rt, the rear loop from the fantic has been chopped off then a support welded on the spa between the 2 shock mounts, 4rt mudguard then fits on with its original mounting holes bolting from underneath out. if you PM me your email i'll email a photo, I struggle to download photos on here!. A 315 montesa mudguard will also fit
-
Being bias they are awesome!
-
The gearing of a 125pro with 200 barrel will be higher geared than a 200 minarelli they can also pull the higher gears better from low down
-
Does anyone have the dates and clubs running the remaining rounds of the National Twinshock Championship that Congleton and Oxford Ixion have ran?
-
