    newbie needs help

You could try Blacks up your way, im sure they were breaking one a while ago. Top yoke will be difficult to find as the twinshock and pre 65 guys will have these. It would be an option to repair if you know a good ally welder or probably the cheapest option to look for a later upside down fork front end as no much use to most people. Plenty of other bikes used the same yokes as the 245,
  2. I have a 240 head if your after one still, will dig it out tomorrow and check fins etc

    240 exhaust

if you can bung both ends of the exhaust, with a valve in one end. Fill the exhaust with compressed air approx 20-30 psi. Then blow tourch a circular area around the dent so its near red hot and the compressed air will blow the dent out. Be careful, make sure the bungs are really secure, if they arent they will blow like a shot gun across the garage.

    AVGAS

I would try the Shell V Power first as Technowaldo said, But yes people have used AV and Blue gas but not sure if it would help your pinking.

    200 gearbox woes

NO dont give up! The gearbox is pretty simple as long as all the shims, springs and ball bearings are in place. Its a long shot but sounds like the ball bearing may have come out under the selector drum, or its spring has broke, fix it and your be glad you didnt buy a TLR
  7. were these wheels that bad? what is the black box above the exhaust?
  8. The 240 tank is physically larger than the 200, so capacity probably is more.

    bar risers

Coxy pit bikes sell a bar riser that will fit or if your top yoke is moulded you may need to look at Apico fat bar conversion clamps. I have no connection to these companies but very satisfied when I used Coxy's

    Original Shocks

I've stripped down my original marazochi shocks as they are leaking, I can get hold of seals and some spherical bearing for the mounts, but cant seem to get the rod off the top alloy mount, is the alloy cast around the chrome rod?

  21. breather pipe goes up frame to basicaly same place as airbox breather pipes, 6mm fuel pipe will be fine push a thin nail into threads to measure how long bolts needs to be less approx 5mm, but they only need to go in 15mm or so.

    1981 2honey

Took it out today for its first trial, its not looking pretty but very happy with it, Once all the little bits are sorted out I think it will be better than my old 200. Its still very similar to the minarelli, gear box is better and all the fun of a minarelli 200 but a bit more fun. One main issue I found today was clutch slip when going across the field from section to section, but in the sections it was fine, even on the hills, so a bit lost on this, running ATF oil ?

Another bracket welded on swing arm so tensioner bolt goes through original braket throught tensioner and then supported by new bracket makes it all a better design, similar to 240.
