  1. Anyone know if the Edin St.George Lauder trial is being held this year, I don't see it in the SACU list of nationals.
  2. Go here: http://www.todotrial.com/ttactual/indexttactual.htm, left hand column 'Interzona', click on 'Zona 8'(calendario), middle of that page at top under 'Calendario', click on Espa

  4. If you can, don't split the head from the barrel, the head gasket costs about
  5. Go here http://todotrial.mforos.com/65594/7037312-...-no-es-ese-tio/ to reply 16 or 21 for a recent photo of the man himself. It says that he has been asked to ride at Robregordo 08 and has agreed.
  6. I'm no Bulto expert but I have really helped the clutch on my Scorpa 125 by fitting this lever - Premium Forged 3-Way Lever + Bracket - here, http://www.racespec.co.uk/rs_shop_final/enter.html, about halfway down the page, it came to
  7. Try here for Bernie's Observed Trials, right at the bottom of the webpage http://www.merlinbooks.com/merlin/offroad.html
  8. Anyone tried fitting the Apico forged AJP lever on an 03 Sherco clutch? I've just tried it but the distance from the lever pivot to the push pin is out by about 3mm. The front brake one is ok because it has a bigger distance from the pivot to the piston centre line. Has the 03 got a different clutch master cylinder to other bikes with AJP cylinders or have Apico made a b*lls up?
  9. Parts are made. I've PM'd you both to get delivery addresses.

  13. I'll contact you through TC once they're done and you can give me your address, about the middle of Nov (I have to wait to get access to the lathe)
  14. Can do, is yours the 125 or one of the others as the fork yokes on the racing models are different, maybe different spindle length. Could you measure the spindle length from the step to the end of the thread for me?
  15. I made my own one for my Nov 2003 bike, if you're willing to wait about a month I could knock one up for you gratis
  16. It's a 163cc, see the previous post about 175F in the Scottish.
  17. 'Can of worms' springs to mind! It's the same at the SSDT, bikes disappearing into manufacturers workshops etc for a bit of emergency repairs. It's tolerated, everyone knows it goes on, and let's face it, with the fragility of modern bikes and the speed/distance that they're doing, without that bit of extra assistance there'd be quite a few less finishers at the trial's end. The same blind eye is turned to everyone doing it, not just the top lads, so it's more or less a level playing field if you fancy shelling out for a couple of spare wheels etc etc
  18. If you're at The Scott this weekend, look out for Allan Adamson riding his 162cc Scorpa, I think it's the one they call the TYS200. He's up near the front, no.7 I think. There were only 2 air-cooled Scorpa 4t's in the Scottish this year, Narita and John Holland, both on 162s. I spoke to JH at the final time check on the Saturday, he seemed pleased enough with it, said it was a lot more comfy on the roads as well. Not sure what gearing they use at the SSDT, maybe an 11T engine sprocket to make it a bit quicker between sections but it would then be a bit quick in the sections without clutching it. I did notice that Narita had his one bouncing off the rev limiter at times in the sections. I rode my 125 at the Manx this year and found that with the 10T on I was revving the nuts off it on the roads, I believe the internal gear ratios on all the models are the same. If you managed to get round the LL 2-day on it, I wouldn't imagine you'd struggle too much at The Scottish. The first year of the 125's, 2003, there were 3 of them, Narita on a 143 and Crosser and the Japanese Yamaha guy on 125s. They all finished and the Japanese was in the bottom half of the Clubman abilities. Certainly reliability shouldn't be a problem.

    Gilera What ?

Yeah, I had one in '78 as well, a 1974 one. It was the Trial model, didn't have the pedal shaft like a mate's one but for some reason had moped in the log book. It was the fastest of all our group with Fizzies, AP50's etc. In fact my mate who had a Fizzy used to use various excuses to borrow it so he could blast it round the Queen's Park / Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh during lunch time at school!. Bought it for
