Cheers jam...yep, tried a new sparky/petrol, Anyway..cleaned the carb out again yesterday, and it seems to be OK again. Hopefully was just some remnants of old/crappy fuel still going through, from its "year in the shed"

didnt get any results in the post yet....being a newbie to the UK scene, can anyone tell me whats the norm. DO results normally get posted out?..or do I have to get them some other way?

DOH!!!!!!!....and there I was hoping it would be an easy fix problem! Ah well, better clean the carb out again and see if there's still a problem...more later!

Hi all, Just dug my dads Aprilia CLimber out of the shed for my annual terrified ride on the beast! Cleaned carb up etc , and first ride went fine...then on the second ride, the carby was playing up. DOnt think it could have got dirty that quick eh?? I'd used some 2 stroke oil that had been in the shed (already openend bottle) for over a year...just wondered if that is the culprit, maybe its gone off??.. I will of course give the carb another clean anyway, and I guess I should chuck that old bottle of Silkolene and start with a new one? Being a tight bugger, I just dont wanna chuck an almost full bottle of 2T away. SO.....should I chuck it or shouldnt I???

Hi all, Just had a really good ride at Malvern MC trial in Storridge, WOrcs. THanks to the club for a great day. Just wondered if anyone who was there could tell me, where/when the results will be available?? Do they post them? I could get off my a*** and ask the organiser I suppose!!..DOH..but thought it would be nice to mention what a good trial it was on here at the same time.

DOnt know about plug for yours but I know for a Rev3 250 2002 model it should be a Champion NY7CC...(something like that) equivelant to an NGK BP7ES I think. DO a search on here, and you'll find some previous discussion on it.

my bike is on a ship form hong kong to UK now bob..so you'll have to wait a few weeks My last few weeks of riding it in Hong Kong, I kept gettting the goo, and it was getting worse,,so I bought a water pump seal, but didnt get round to fitting it. Will fit it when the bike arrives here, and let you know if it makes a difference...(unfortunately that will be almost another 2 months though!!!)

Having just returned to UK and just done my first trial with Briedden Hills MCC...I'm feeling on top of the world. I just cant believe how good the scene is here!...of course it goes without saying that all the trials people are great too!! The organisation at my first trial was excellent..and I cant believe when I look in T&MX that I even have a CHOICE of trials to ride each weekend..(and not TOO far away) AH!!..bliss...LONG may it continue....and I hope Defra never gets in the way again!!

Still HOPING to be there on Sunday...but pretty knakered after the flight...and I'm still not sure about riding my old mans APrilia...its such a beast...ah well..HOPEFULLY see you there...and yep, it would be my first "proper UK trial"...tried to do one several years ago, but didnt finish. Now hopefully I'll be able to finish..but not that sure if the Aprilia will!!

Lew Gasgas...get a yommee beader..they;re great..probably the biggest problem you'll have is beading it..the rest is easy...and you MIGHT even find that if you go down to the local tyre shop, even THEY might struggle to bead it..if they are not used to doing trials tyres!
