  1. Yes the engine is basically the same as a CRF250. I use Hi-flo filters and the part no. is HF116 they are a fraction of the cost than the original HONDA OE part.

For all you riders competing in the SSDT this year I would recommend you visit HERE and order youself a quality photo of ''Your Holiday in the Highlands'' I am not on any commission for pluging this only to say I have ordered a couple of photo's from Andy and they are quality, so it is worth you spending a bit of brass as it is only a samll amount of what you spent last week up there on keeping your bike going or keeping yourself lubricated in the evening on BEER!!! As Andy says the money goes back into our sport so another worthwhile reason for doing it.
  7. No orange flags to be seen, now you wern't taking a short cut were you
  8. Been going to the SSDT a few years now and still don't know the guy who interviews on the finish ramp or in charge of the Mic at the presentation............................ Now I may upset his family, but he needs to retire and talk about a subject and and maybe people he knows because it seems he knows Jack S**t about trials or the people who take part!!! So one of the highlights of the week was at the presentation when Dougie had enough of him took the microphone out of his hand and did his speech.............hell of a result

  11. Good video they get better and better the top boys moving the 'Goalposts' further apart. Just one point in the first part of the video (where Lampkin got an early 5) the marker on the face of the rock, should they have gone to go to the right? Lampkin I think tried to do this by flicking his rear wheel, wher others either rode over the marker and some to the left? Now if thats not the case then bad judgement from DL not to take the straighter line, but if it was then it seems the others gpot away with it? Hard to see from the video so someone closer to the action could tell us???
  12. Maybe this is the way you do it............ It was autumn, and the Indians on the remote reservation asked their new Chief if the winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was an Indian Chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets, and when he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the weather was going to be. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he replied to his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect wood so they would be prepared for it. But also being a practical leader, after several days he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, "Is the coming winter going to be cold?" "It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold indeed," the Meteorologist at the weather service responded. So the Chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more wood in order to be prepared. One week later he called the National Weather Service again. "Is it going to be a very cold winter?" he asked. "Yes," the man at National Weather Service again replied, "it's going to be a very cold winter." The Chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of wood they could find. Two weeks later he called the National Weather Service again. "Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?" "Absolutely," the man replied. "It looks like it's going to be one of the coldest winters ever." "How can you be so sure?" the Chief asked. The weatherman replied, "The Indians are collecting firewood like crazy

I presume Michael Brown didn't competete yesterday in America, hence incurring a score of 150 marks (hey I could do that and score WTC Points ), wonder if the injury will be mended enough to start next Monday. He has got to be in with a chance of lifting the trophy so here's to a speedy recovery

Rode the Jack Wood a few weeks ago and about half way round the bike started to cough and not rev out, thought it might be water in one of the electrical terminal blocks? Rode again today after taking removing all electrical terminals, drying etc. prior to this same symptons, 2 laps the bike started to cough and not rev out? Not the plug as I tried several with the same symptons, if I let the bike cool down and started again, could do a couple of sections and same thing? Now someone told me with those symptons that it could be the ignition coil giveing an intermiitant spark? Could this be it or has anyone else come across this same problem? If so whats the cure? Good job I'm not riding the SSDT wouldn't make it to Bradilieg...............
