Great article Neo thats the right way to do it without an autoclave if you want nice parts. I did some rc boats and planes in plain fiber without the vacuum bagging and they came out very nice. For a look nice effect you could use kevlar or carbon as the last layer over the cheaper normal fiber for a nice finish. If you want to make just one you can skip the molding process it will save you a lot of time. Try it ! it,s fun to make your own stuff use a well ventilated room because the smell is horror. MPM any pictures of the plastic tank ?
  4. Scott i,m glad you,ve got your bikes back looks like you tried everything and still they got away it,s too bad but thats reality i,m afraid. Problem is i rent mine and it,s 5 mins from my house i ordered a gsm alarm system on 12 volts that i will build in a welded box and install that first. Next will be something like RedVanMans solution i really like that ! Cheers,
  5. no forum but there is a Classified Ads section on the portalpage http://www.trialscentral.com/ i think members can post there.
  6. Thats what the policeman said to me if it takes too long they don,t like it anymore and they hate lights. I,m not sure if it,s okay to post your new products here but i would love to see them i think the first one looks really smart !

Hello Neo a tank cover is not hard to do yourself it,s just a cover and not holding anything. But it will only add weight offcourse i took off the heavy stock decals and made my own saved 140 gramms there. No holes drilled here yet but it,s tempting i love to make things lighter i have a trackcar that started out at 1180 kilos and now weighs only 980 kilos believe me you feel the difference in braking and speed. A trialbike is very difficult to improve i think balance is key there.
  8. Tonight 22:15 (UK time) on Eurosport 2 Trial World Championships it doesent say where but i think it must be Milan.
  9. This looks very nice !! it would make a nice mount for Dougie Pumpkins shotgun solution too did you make it yourself ?
  10. I like the idea of a ground anchor ! that should work and i agree if they really want them they will take them. My problem with chains is they are easy to snap those ba$tards have hydraulic cutters nowdays. They steal them from the firetrucks and cut through any chain easy but only if they can reach it ! Maybe i will weld something up using a ground anchor and the footpegs or some part of the frame to secure it. Thanks guys !
  11. My garage was broken in last weekend they came for my car but thanks god some neighbours heard the noise and they went away. Problem is they did see the three bikes too i,m pretty sure they will come back for them. For now i parked them in my mothers garden but they need to go back sometime. How have you secured your bikes in storage ? Tia,
  12. After looking good at my Cota Fiasco 348 not one part on it is original. It has wheels from a later model the carb is a 22mm Amal the tank from a Rathmell replica it,s a mess. The 22 mm Amal is way too small but I have a good working carb on my 95 Fantic Section is it possible to use that on the Montesa ? Cheers,

  18. Can,t help you there Jaan greenhorn here too got my 348 a few months ago. Looking at the parts diagram there are two seals in each fork maybe you need 2 of both ? ask them they are very friendly. They are the pros use their knowledge they know whats needed for a rebuild i think you need more than just the seals. Cheers,
  19. Hello Jaan here they have them http://www.francetrialclassic.com/ they also have spring sets for the 348. Sorry for posting this link it will cost you lots of money Cheers, Ed
  20. Location: The Hague in The Netherlands Connection: 4mb ADSL Speed: 5 seconds for frontpage but it can take up to 15 seconds in the evenings and in weekends. Overal great performance !
  21. Thanks guys ! Will be looking out for a Bultaco,Yamaha or Honda to restore not very much Twinshoks for sale here now so i have to wait what comes up. There was a real nice TL125 for sale here but i think the 125 engine is a bit small and will leave you wanting a 200 in the end ?
  22. good spares backup is important yes good point ! I will use it for clubtrials only not good enough for real competition yet one i forgot is the Yamaha TY 250 i had the 50cc version when i was 16 years old, sold it for 50euros back then Bultaco has had so much models over the years wich year or model is best ? Cheers,
  23. Would like to get my second twinshock and need your advice on this one. I would like to get something to do a full restore on and have a few favorites. I love all Bultaco,s for their looks ! another favorite is the Ossa in Orange i think it,s the TR80 model or a 349 Montesa would be nice too Maybe even a 4-stroke Honda all of them are great bikes i would like to hear your choice and why please. Cheers,
