Thanks it seems they only lock the front wheel on the pics i found. Would that be enough ? what about the rest of this board over 300 views .... just throw the bike in and hope it will stay in place ?

Today i welded up a rack that holds the front wheel in place inside my VW transporter. Would like to see pictures of how you guys tie the bike to the floor please ! Transporter,Transit whatever i just need some ideas

ah found the 2003 specs here http://www.gasgas.com/Pages/2003's/txt80-main.html 6 gears.

I could only find the specs of the 2001 model http://www.gasgas.com/Pages/2001's/TX80-rookie.html and it had 6 gears then. Maybe they changed it to 5 or less later but only 2 gears i don,t think so. Maybe PeterB knows ?

Please do Biff ! we did a wrap in carbon fiber decal on my friends old Porsche 924 looks pretty cool. If you do ask the shop to laminate it twice it will hold a bit longer that way. Found a picture of a "wood" style wrap i think it was yours ?

Thanks again Peter ! will get some gaskets and try that, allready tried the tilt over trick and it starts from cold on 2nd kick now used to take 3 or 4 when cold so that,s alot better allready

Great info Peter thanks !! I have the Ducati version bike is a 2004 300txtpro with dellorto carb so the tilt over trick should work for me. Just to be sure no headspacer for me the total beginner just retard the timing and hebo flywheel and get used to it ?

I have the metal toe clips still on my boots i see some screws on the underside but the top has some nails in them. Did you first remove the nails ? and what is the function of those clips anyway ? Only Sidi has them i think.

I have knee guards and i don,t think they restrict movement but i,m a beginner so what do i know I got them because they make me feel a bit more secure on the bike.

I will wait for advice from PeterB thanks ! soften the power is not a problem for me a 125 would be more than enough for me. Problem is there are not alot of trial bikes for sale here in little Holland so the 300 was the only one for sale within budget.

Thats pretty cool and a big advantages of efi. What do you guys use to load the images ? serial/usb or do you have to take out the eprom and use an eprom programmmer ?

Yes i am a flat paint fan even one of my cars is flat black i think GasGas did a great job in the design but i like to give it my own twist that,s all.

Tim costs is not the problem i have a signshop and like do do my own decals . I will do a wrap on the bike in flat orange with flat black text a bit like my company logo.
Never mind i will ask my dealer for sizes.

They are copyrighted yes ! If i would sell them i will have a problem with Gas Gas. These will be for my own bike only but i don,t want to cause problems for this board.

Just picked up a 2004 TXT pro 300 great bike ! only thing it needs are some new decals. I made all decals as a vector allready i just need the size of the TXT Pro decal can someone take the size between the two yellow stripes please ?
