  11. hi, it could be that your floats are set wrong in carb, or you need a new needle valve assy ( not to expensive ). john lampkin also does a mod to the carb so worth speaking to him, milky gearbox oil sounds like your water pump seal needs replacing, as for gearbox oil, try using atf, normally prevents clutch drag, hope this helps . john lampkins number is 01535 655970, cheers

  18. hi, its worth giving john shirt a call to see if he has a list of frame numbers of uk bikes, if it isnt a uk bike then i'm pretty sure you would have to pay the vat on it before you register it and may have to register it on a q plate. hope this helps
  19. hi, like the addict says, it cushions the blow to the case, they are not expensive i had to buy one, just a few quid , stick them on the plate with silocone, if you look on the plate you should be able to see a mark of where they go. hope this helps

  21. hi. i dont think you can test a stator, a stator usually breaks down when the motor is hot, wait for it to cool down and normally runs again till hot , we used to send mx stators to west country windings , did a brill job on them, have you tried cdi and coil although symptoms of a kickback are not normally related to them, hope this helps anyway. cheers
  22. hi, i clean mine in putoline action cleaner and then use castrol filter spray, squeeze the excess off in a paper towel, that way it doesnt get too oily, hope this helps. cheers
  23. hi, apart from the clubs already mentioned, there are also clubs in the midland centre which host really good trials with road work at some events , so you are in a good part of the country, all the best
  24. hi, have you tried using atf ? works a treat, and its cheap enough to change every 2 or 3 trials. hope this helps, cheers
