    Tyres

Sometimes on Acront rims, on others the beed drops back in at trials pressures. IRC's are better at 6psi in my experience.

    Electronic Ignition

I was looking at a post in the pre 65 forum for electronic ignitions. The company also do an ignition for SWM's, anybody tried one ? (They also have one listed for the climber) http://www.powerdynamo.biz/deu/systems/lists/swm.php
  13. Rockshocks are twice the price, but a vaguely competent spannerman can change the damping with the shim stack. John is really helpfull and will talk you through. I changed the springs, length and damping on a set I got 2nd hand (but virtually new) for less than a pair of NJB's Means you can swap them to another bike in a push.

    Swm Badges

Hi motosinge83 They look good, but wouldn't have worked with the earlier plastic tanks. I don't think. Stickers are available on ebay, hoping the engraved plates will last a bit longer !

How many of your events are oversubscribed requiring a ballot for entry ?
  17. Google brings up a lot of info, like http://www.motorcyclecarbs.com/Dellorto_Float_Height_and_Jet__W77C2088.cfm
  18. Rotax motors have them, not aware of any air leak issues.
  19. Not sure if Montesa's have them, but they should be on every bike IMO Yes, if your floats are sticking, or not set correctly, or the needle in the carb can have dirt stuck in it, the petrol can go straight into the crank case. Not leaving any sign of a spillage on the outside.
