Have you seen the scott in real life?
-

Sounds like a good old fashioned T and O to me with the addition of mx bikes.
Is there a demand for what has become extinct in our south midland centre, and what would the addition of mx bikes have?
-
OK, let's step back for a moment. The question is "protection, do we need it?"
1. Does stepping outside have a potential for injury?
2. If yes, does it have a potential for serious injury?
3. If there is a potential for minor or serious injury, is there protective gear that can act to reduce the level of injury or eliminate it entirely?
4. If there is protective gear like that, can it be worn while walkingwithout giving the effect of putting a bag over your head and tieing at least one hand behind your back?

what r2w says is spot on.
If it fits size wise it may not fit in shape, they are all different. Buy helmets off the net, at your peril.
-
Pretty sure they are all one route as per regs?
-
-
Perhaps with the addition of a full fface helmet this suit may suit?
-
4.5 back 5.5 front michelin, re check when warm. fat rider.

If I hadn't given the 4rt a go this year, then i would be first in line for a 250 Raga, that I would bet is more than enough in your first year. I do think that since 05 the 250 has got more zippy so will do as much maybe more than you can?
-
Good points, the main reason I got a 250 they are easier to sell on.
-
Exactly.
L and M events (unrelated to TC) do a really good job of promoting their events, Rathmell/Jarvis as I understand it has never advertised on this site neither have dirttrax. Sonia I think used to post intermitterntly a few bits but this was for maybe ayear a good while back.
As an aside as john collins explains on another thread, did you read that(?) it is very very early days.
The venue is not "homologated" yet.
-
Sorry should have been more specific, the 290 as atom and gaz agree above is NOT an "expert only" bike, thats what I meant.
-
Its actually not that difficult, the first 3 numbers 198 narrow it down and the frame loop over the back mudgaurd pinpoint a or b.
I bet you know some obscure scubby stuff?
-
Rubbish the 2005 Sherco (I owned one ) is a great bike.
I would choose between the Sherco and beta, try both and then you will know .
The 315 was old hat then and the 4rt is already 3 years old.
-
Definately 250, great to go and if you,re get back you, old skill then you can win on this bike.
Dellorto is easier to set and maintan aswell. Enjoy!
-
Sidecar sections = route of all evil.
-
Got a 4rt its good, but takes some getting used to.
-
This is what the riders need a bit of a challenge. Apparently the first twenty sections in cornwall resulted in 90% of riders loosing less than ten? Glad I didn't drive the 4 hours for that.
I wasn't there can others who were comment accurately?
-
No take the cap off when cold and fill it there.
Under the tank.
-
Don't know what happened there sorry, anyways one of these new shape vito may do the job
-
My partner at work has a 108 t5 03 and its been good, performance is not brill but its been 100% reliable and only consumables. If you can get a 174 the performance difference is startling.
Doubt you will get more than 30 from a 108 t5 and you tend to work a less powerful engine anyway. Cruising speed is ok though.
If you need a bit more space in theback?
-
Never understood that as correct me if I'm wrong but no one ever registers a trials bike for road use in the US anyway???
